  • Beautiful town home in an excellent location

"We had a fantastic time staying in this lovely house! The location is perfect, close to town lake and the walking trails and also only 20mins walk to either Downtown or South Congress, which makes things so much easier now that Austin does not have Uber!! Beautifully furnished with all the amenities you could need we would throughly recommend this place!"

  • Tranquil haven

"The Green Door is the PERFECT place to stay during a trip to Austin. A short walk or even shorter cab to South Congress and then a short cab to downtown means it is perfectly located (example $6 to Rainey Street). Clean, modern, quiet and in a charming little neighbourhood. It was ideal for two couples and meant that we had our own little lounge and kitchen area which you wouldnt get at a hotel. We were super impressed at the high quality of everything from the towels to the kettle. I couldnt recommend this place enough."

  • Would stay here again.

"Lovely place. Enjoyed our stay. I would recommend a few more towels and maybe a bit more lighting. (A few bulbs were needing to be replaced). There were a few games if you wanted to play. The owner was really nice in our correspondence as well."

  • Good place, bad parking.

"The house and its location were good. The neighborhood is crowed but very quiet. The house is older but very clean. Traveling around Austin from this location was easy. What wasn't apparent to me in the listing is that residence is one side of a duplex with a small, two-vehicle max, shared driveway. We had two cars. The people living in the other side had two cars and two large SUVs. This made finding street parking for our second car very frustrating as the street was often full."
