  • Very nice, easy to access with car, close to good food.

"The description was accurate as far as location, layout and amenities. It was clean and well maintained though a bit musty smelling. Service was fine. Liked the easy access and owner was accommodating to our early arrival time. Interesting neighborhood."

  • UT Parent Orientation

"I stayed here during my son's UT orientation. Location was great. I loved the neighborhood feel, but within blocks of great dining and shopping. Grocery store is also an easy 3 - 4 block walk or drive. Access to UT campus is not bad either with at most a 15 minute drive. House was very clean. I loved morning coffee on the large screened in back porch or walking to a nearby coffee shop. Nice hardwood floors, original farmhouse sink in kitchen and the honeycomb tile work in the bathroom give it a historic feel. Cute place. Would stay here again if available."

  • Excellent Location!

"My family and I went to a wedding in Austin & the bride told us to search in VRBO because it would be more affordable & more comfortable place as opposed to a hotel. I'm glad I did. I had never heard of VRBO. This was a cute condo, very clean & spacious. Love that I was able to bring my furbaby Toby. He loved the little backyard & he enjoyed all the squirrels that would be scurrying around there. . This is a great location. There are some restaurants & food trucks within walking distance. Congress street is close by & my puppy & i went to a nearby small trail & the following day we went to the trail under the Bat Bridge which was only 5 min walking distance. The only thing was kind of scary was the entrance to the parking lot because it was sort of steep & you could see where a few cars had hit the bottom of their cars. Anyway, we were careful driving in & out, though. It also had a dvr to play movies, & there were books & game boards to play but we were busy with wedding stuff & sightseeing, we didn't have time to use them but it's a great touch. Also there is coffee available for you to make. All in all, it's a great cozy place. I have already recommended this site to a few people. We enjoyed our stay at this property. Thanks Dominique. :)"

  • An Austin Favorite

"It's one of Austin's many treasures. I almost hesitate to review it because I want to keep it a secret, but the owners are deserve to be as successful as possible. Cute house with a great authentic vibe. Wood floors, good design, Dr. Bronner's in the shower, a truly functional kitchen, all within easy walk of Austin's South Congress neighborhood."
