  • Amazing View & House

"I've never left a review before but I have to for this place. This was our first time going to Austin and we were not disappointed! The host is so nice and very accommodating. The view is amazing! House is very spacious and nice. We had 13 girls with us and everyone slept comfortably. The drive is not bad going to downtown. I would definitely recommend this house! If I get a chance to come back to Austin, I will definitely book this place again!! If I can give this place 100 stars, I would!"

  • 5 BR excluded West Austin location but only minutes from downtown.

"Great location for 4 seniors 74+. Excluded but close to downtown. Rooms were nice, place was clean. Too chilly for the pool or outside lounging but that's the weather in Feb/Mar. Driveway certainly needs to be redone but you just need to go slow. We had no complaints with the house as it fit our needs perfectly but the TV was frustrating. We would lose the U-Verse connection every few minutes. We figured how to get it back every time it went out but it was a little upsetting."

  • 5 Star location, 3 Star furnishings

"Lovely location, wake up to birds chirping, deer wandering and relatively close to getting downtown. Kitchen is well-stocked although a newer, large frying pan would be a great addition. We had 7 adults in our group and did not have trouble with the 10 pm outdoor noise ordinance despite a jest here and there. Beautiful space, great windows - could use some updates and additional comfy seating in the great room. Visited February 2017, would have loved to throw open all the doors and windows, but the screens were missing in most of the doors and windows. Perhaps having doors open in Austin is a very small window of time. The weather was almost perfect. The house would benefit well from a thorough, top to bottom spring cleaning, although keeping bugs completely out and webs away when surrounded by woods would be a tough job. Bathrooms could definitely use some updates. Small, 70's style, low shower heads. Towels and rugs were getting a bit ragged and the house could stand some freshening up in general. Washer and dryer were on premises, so freshening up a load of towels was not a hardship. The spacious accommodations were very reasonable and perhaps if it were updated, the price would not be as attractive or it would be in extremely high demand. The steep curving hills are a bit intimidating, but the instructions were thorough so even when Waze got it wrong, we were able to find it without too much trouble. Met the owner briefly, she is delightful."

  • Geodome in West Austin hill country

"This was a little bit of wilderness in the hills above Austin. Deer would practically come up to you and the beautiful deck had a gorgeous view of Austin. The home was eclectic with a spacious open design and well stocked kitchen. It even came with a delicious quiche! The homeowner was gracious and welcoming. Easy 10 minute drive th nice restautants and 15 minute drive into Austin. Great place to feel like you are away from it all but easy to get to it all when you want to! Recommend as a romantic get away!"
