  • Cozy cabin

"This cabin is so cozy and I love the detailing. Loved the private hot tub. We were able to see deer feeding as well as wild pigs! We enjoyed a nice fire inside, however a little love seat would be better than the two chairs to snuggle up on. It was very peaceful and we enjoyed spending out anniversary in this little hide away."

  • Great location, Comfortable Stay

"This location is great! The view of the river is even better than the pics show. We didn't have time to use any of the water "toys", but will definitely try to do so next time we return. Sylvia has made this room and bathroom a very comfortable oasis for her guests. She supplies cold water in the mini fridge, along with ice trays in the freezer. There's a great coffee maker, pair of coffee cups, pairs of bowls, plates, and silverware, and even two beach towels. The bed is very comfortable. As to the train that goes by often, we barely heard it while in the room. Sylvia does supply a noise maker for those who might still be bothered by the train. Sylvia is so nice and it was fun to hear her stories, a very lovely lady! She gives you a tour of the back yard and two decks on the water, but then gives you all the privacy you want. She made herself available for our stay, but we didn't need anything because everything was already supplied! We walked from the house to the Bobcat Stadium for the Texas State vs UofH football game. Super easy walk! We also walked from the house to Downtown. If walking to Downtown on Hopkins St, note that there is no sidewalk on the south side of Hopkins, but there is on the north side. It's not easy to cross over to the north side of Hopkins, though...it's a very busy street. We'll definitely be returning to Sylvia's oasis in the heart of San Marcos!"

  • Comfortable and convenient.

"We walked to the UT campus and the LBJ Library and Museum from here. RideAustin took us everywhere else for just dollars. Treehouse apartment is cute and comfortable if you plan to eat dinner out which we did. The kitchen is small for cooking dinner. But who would want to miss the great meals offered within walking distance? The apartment was clean and Kim was very helpful."
