  • Excellent Location!

"My family and I went to a wedding in Austin & the bride told us to search in VRBO because it would be more affordable & more comfortable place as opposed to a hotel. I'm glad I did. I had never heard of VRBO. This was a cute condo, very clean & spacious. Love that I was able to bring my furbaby Toby. He loved the little backyard & he enjoyed all the squirrels that would be scurrying around there. . This is a great location. There are some restaurants & food trucks within walking distance. Congress street is close by & my puppy & i went to a nearby small trail & the following day we went to the trail under the Bat Bridge which was only 5 min walking distance. The only thing was kind of scary was the entrance to the parking lot because it was sort of steep & you could see where a few cars had hit the bottom of their cars. Anyway, we were careful driving in & out, though. It also had a dvr to play movies, & there were books & game boards to play but we were busy with wedding stuff & sightseeing, we didn't have time to use them but it's a great touch. Also there is coffee available for you to make. All in all, it's a great cozy place. I have already recommended this site to a few people. We enjoyed our stay at this property. Thanks Dominique. :)"

  • What a great find

"My husband and I (and our cat) recently spent three months in this charming guesthouse to escape the Canadian winter. It was perfect. The house was clean, very tastefully appointed, and importantly, the bed was very comfortable. It was home away from home. The owners are friendly and very helpful, and cheerfully lent me their hand held beater when I needed to whip up some cream for dessert! The house is in a lovely, quiet area of Austin, but conveniently located a five minute drive to downtown, and close to major highways. Our stay here exceeded our expectations, and we will most certainly be back."

  • FANTASTIC historic home in the heart of Bandera, TX!!

"We escaped to Bandera for the weekend with family and the property was not only charming but clean, spacious, and decorated to fit the period of the home. The Flying L Resort was overbooked and lucky for us....because we got to enjoy this hidden treasure instead. We enjoyed several local attractions (Flying L water park, NEW Bandera Natural History Museum, antique stores, local eats) as well as live music at night. The owner went out of her way to make us feel welcome and even took time out of her busy schedules to show us the unique qualities of the home and must-see places in town (thanks Trina!). Very family friendly and I would HIGHLY recommend staying here. We will definitely return soon for round two. Our extended family joined us & rented the attached apartment...perfect space for everyone. Again, this was a 5-star stay with a historic charm-twist. We loved it!!"
