  • A True Hill Country Gem!

"Our recent two night stay in the "Houston" cabin was perfect! The cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. We loved the privacy and tranquility of Feathered Horse Ranch B&B. It was the perfect location - convenient and easy drive to local attractions and to visit wineries, but secluded and so relaxing! We are recommending FHRB&B to family and friends - It is a Hill Country gem!"

  • Wonderful experience!

"My husband and two children (16 and 2) stayed here for one night and wished we would have stayed longer! The property is set back from the freeway and very peaceful. We walked in to the house and we were more than pleased! It is so clean, cozy, and spacious. The owners even provided a continental breakfast with snacks, fruit, and a variety of other things. We loved the porch and the view of the land especially in the mornings and the evenings. The beds were very comfortable and we had plenty of room for the 4 of us. Would highly recommend and hope to come back!"

  • Perfect

"We have stayed twice at this home. With 2 adults and 3 teenagers we loved the simplicity of the home, which makes one feel instantly comfortable. Sitting on the back deck to watch the sunrise, deer getting up from their sleep and lots of turkeys. The only sounds are wildlife and a distant feeder - to bring in more wildlife."

  • Family Gathering in the Hill Country...

"We Spent our annual Christmas Hill Country Family Holiday at El Mirador...this was our first of many more to come stays at El Mirador'. The website and photos of this place do not do it justice as in person...the property is is secluded but very accessible to town (Comfort). The Ranch is beautiful! The Grounds are perfect for a family gathering...lots of yard for a perfect adventure or of soccer or football...the outdoor covered kitchen is wonderful for a morning breakfast of late night game of cards. There are 4 sitting areas outdoors...patio with fire pit by living area...outdoor Kitchen with large in ground fire pit ...along the stone sidewalks you will find a breakfast table 1/2 way to the pool and at the pool area are 3 swing chairs and table for a afternoon the pool are lounge chairs and the pool is gloriously large and clean and shaded by beautiful old oak trees... the property landscape are large cactus and rock gardens...trees surround the entire house...We went down the road to gather rocks and found a few Heart Stones along the way...The interior of the main house is beautifully decorated with many art pieces and ranch decor. The beds are super comfortable with up scale linens and bedding. The house is a 3 bedroom with a extra game room...which makes it nice at night for the kids to stay up late without disturbing the old folks. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need...He house has extra bedding and towels... We added two twin be air mattesses to one of the bedrooms for the baby and older daughter. Everyone was super comfortable! We look forward to coming back soon! Rose our small dog loved the fenced yard and was sad when we left. My husband and I , elderly parents (81&86), my sister and her son, my daughter, and grand baby all loved the home! Thanks to Sue Ann for being such a lovely host we loved your home so much and we will definitely come again!"
