  • Excellent

"Very nice house with beautiful lake view. We all enjoyed canoeing and cold water jumps. Weather was nice for new year with 70 degrees. Kids loved the house especially the bunk bed area."

  • Great place for family

"Our family of kids, and grandkids had a wonderful time at this place. Stairs were not part of active main level, so no problem for toddlers. Manager was responsive. Good family house, with downstairs covered area to visit and play. Mosquitos were huge in August, but to be expected. Close access to town. Downstairs bed was old, and needs to be replaced."

  • great view of the lake!

"This place was very clean and well kept. The kitchen was well stocked with items needed to fix your own meals. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us and it does sleep 8 with the fold out sofa. The view from the balcony was amazing! The master bedroom has a great view also and access to balcony from the master bedroom. The only thing was the day dock below the condo looked liked we could get to our boat, but you have to go thru the yacht club and you don't have access to that so we were not for sure if the docks were accessible for us."

  • Great home and ideal location = amazing time at the lake

"Our family did a last minute get away and saw this house. Sally, the property manager responded quickly. I was concerned about the lack of reviews but it turns out this is a new property. So we crossed our fingers and booked it. We couldn't have been more pleased! The home was perfect for us. We were able to prepare every meal (with the exception of Spykes BBQ- yum!) in the kitchen. There was an ample supply of all the basics and then some extras. The house was appropriately decorated- great for a lake house. With two small children we were grateful for the non-abundance of clutter decor. Just the right balance. Our daughter had a blast deciding which bunk to claim as her own and declared the bed comfy and the blankets soft. Though our baby slept in a portable we brought, we appreciated the quiet bedrooms downstairs, both of which had ample space to set him up. We also found the king bed upstairs to be comfortable (and we're picky!). The other home supplies and comforts were plentiful. An ample amount of towels, pillows, etc. No shampoo, bar soap, etc is provided but we prefer our own when we travel. We were grateful for things like extra life jackets, pliers, zip bags, cleaning towels- lots of little things you have at home but typically miss when traveling. The best part of the house is the outside. Take three steps from doors off the living room and you're likely in the lake. We were apprehensive of this at first with our young kids but got a system (only go in/out one door, lock door or block when not going out). Best part- baby monitors reached the dock so we fished at night and still heard kids on the monitors! I caught an 16" catfish at night; our daughter caught a 12" in the morning (plus lots of sunfish and even worm-stealing turtles!). The pecan trees, turtles and geese were a hit for the kids too. Only two small things- we didn't have reliable cell service at the house. However, my parents' phones worked just fine when they visited for the day. Second, we couldn't get lights to work on the dock at night. Sally sent instructions (she was always VERY prompt in replying) but with the spotty cell service we didn't see them. Perhaps fishing by the house's lantern helped us land more fish! The cove is quiet yet close to open water. Tying a boat was easy as well as navigating. Overall an amazing stay. We've stayed at several great Lake LBJ houses yet this is the only one we plan to return in the future. It is perfect!"
