  • Enjoyed our stay!

"Beautiful home! Large enough to accommodate our group of 10 comfortably. The kids loved the underwater light by the pier. My personal favorite spot was the back porch! Owners were very attentive to our needs."

  • A celebration at The Lake House

"We had a great time! 13 adults, 4 kids and 16 paws and we still had room for more. Lol the house was spacious, inside and out. My husband and I slept at the quaint little guest house. Talk about "right at home", the main celebration was at the Lake House and the serenity and peace right by the water was awesome. The owners were amazing, we met them on the first day, they were so sweet and accomodating. Great advice on things to do and honey holes fishing. Lots of activities for everyone to get into from reading, relaxing on the deck to fishing, and even a few games of tether ball. The views from inside the house to out on the deck were breath taking. The deck off the house allowed us to enjoy the relaxation and the ability of keeping a close eye on the rambunctious 3yr old who fell in love with the open yard between the house and the lake. The kitchen was open and allowed multiple people to prepare food while keeping conversation with everyone else lounging. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. I didn't get a chance to ask the owners what type of matresses the bed had but the bed in the guest house was heaven. And on our last day, we saw deer off the back screened in porch. We could have stayed forever but the best part is we will be back! I thought for sure that when all my techy guys found out there was NO wi-fi, that would be the end but it wasn't they said several times it's nice to disconnect and enjoy the surroundings. That's when I knew, we are definitely coming back to The Lake House. Thanks again to the owners for such a honey hole of heaven! God bless you and all that come to stay."

  • Serene Retreat

"Lisa and Mike were very gracious hosts and greeted us upon our arrival to show us around the Inn. The casitas were well equipped with extremely comfortable beds, towels and toiletries. The main room is where we spent most of our time and took advantage of the great kitchen, which was fairly well equipped for a rental. The outdoor patio had a grill and outdoor furniture which was perfect for our gathering in the late afternoons. The peaceful atmosphere of the property was the most enjoyable part of our experience. We were lucky to have Lisa give us a tour of her pastures and were able to visit her horses too. The scenery was like a postcard. There was not much rustic to the trip since all of the accommodations were quite luxurious. We will be back!"

  • Perfect gathering place

"Four adult members of our family got together in the Dallas area, staying at this charming lake house. It was clean, well maintained and provided a ideal location for a reunion. One evening, several extended family members came over for dinner. There was plenty of room for the gathering and the kitchen is large enough for food preparation. Internet access was a high priority and the WiFi was more than adequate. We spent time in Frisco, Little Elm and Denton while staying at the lake house. I would highly recommend it. The owner was pleasant to work with and promptly replied to every inquiry."
