  • Great family weekend - I don't give 5's

"Birthday celebration for my husband and grandson. Christine called to see when we would be arriving and said we could come early if we wanted as the house was clean and ready to go. She asked me to contact her when we arrived to check on the state of the property. Everything looked clean and ready to go inside the house. After inspecting the grounds and trying to access the satellite with the TV I contacted Christine and she was right on it. Christine was very responsive in correcting the problem. The kids swan to their hearts' content and slept well at night. The beds were very comfortable. There were plenty of towels. The pool was perfect for us. There were plenty of places to sit outside and even with the Texas July heat there was enough shade and breeze to sit outside comfortably. The 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bath was perfect for my crew. For the prospective traveler: If you like the old fashioned meat market / deli pick up some smoked sausage from Prause's in LaGrange. If you like Kolache, cinnamon rolls or pig in a blanket stop by Weikel's in LaGrange-I highly recommend their Poppyseed kolache. There are numerous shops to browse in LaGrange as well. IF you don't want to go that far and like antiques and collectibles there are plenty of shops that are open on the weekend going either direction on hwy 147. I would stay here again either with family or friends. I can see myself recommending it for a girl's weekend. You don't have to like the local stores (antiquing or junking) to like Bo Buff Bradley."

  • Country Christmas Getaway

"Great country place for peace and contemplation. Wine or coffee on the porch under the oaks with a blazing outdoor fire offers an unbeatable ambiance. Lots of great amenities including those you can only find in the country like farm fresh eggs and homemade peanut brittle that's second to none! Great place for families, friends or a secluded romantic getaway!"

  • Wonderful experience

"Loved the house and being a little bit removed from the huddle and bustle of the antique show. Fayetteville is charming. House is beautiful and perfectly appointed. Eric was a pleasure to work with as well. Will definitely be back again."
