  • Granbury Lake House

"Our time there was excellent. The two story house is located on a peninsula in a cove off of the main body of the lake. The set up of the house, location of two large bedrooms downstairs separated by the kitchen and living areas with two bedrooms up stairs gave each of the three families with our 5 grand children privacy, but with ample room with not feeling crowded. The kids swam and fished off of the dock, while each pair of the adults took turns in the paddle boat or kayaks. We cooked out on the gas grill and made smores at the stone fire pit near the lake. The owner of the property was generous in giving us additional time since she didn't have bookings sandwiched around us. We will definitely be going back."

  • Absolutely perfect country retreat!

"I just left the cabin today, and absolutely loved My stay there! My children were attending bereavement camp nearby and I needed someone close to stay in case they needed me. This cabin was so much more than I expected! Quiet, beautiful, remote location that was still easy enough to run into town for food/groceries and shopping. I would highly recommend that you take 1195 to 1194, at the dead end go left and stay left at the fork to get to the cabin. I drive a very low to the ground car, and 1195 saved my car from destuction! Excellent property, and had quick, polite responses from owner when I had a question. I will definitely return again!"

  • Çomfortable rustic yet refined cabin.

"We stayed at the cabin as we are not usually comfortable in the standard hotel setting. The cabins are located in the Jellystone campground with quick access to the Fort Worth area (~ 20 minutes). Our stay was very relaxing and quiet. The cabin was very well thoughtout with a cozy fireplace, comfortable and stylist furnishing, and a large bath with a small functional kitchette (coffee, fridge, and microwave). We loved the style of the cabin, very Sante Fe with warm furnishings. We enjoyed out stay and are happy that we elected for the cozy cabin in lieu of a sterile hotel."

  • Beautiful lake view

"The property was everything we expected, beautiful view, private road, quiet and secluded. Sadly, lake was low so lake access was tricky from the property. We took advantage of boat rental to better enjoy the lake, it was worth the money!! Already making plans to return soon!!"
