  • Great house

"Stayed with Elaine last year in the 3 bedroom house. This year the five bedroom was great . Roomy enough for my team. Will definitely rent again next year."

  • Great family reunion!

"We spent a long weekend here with 4 generations. There were toys & games for the kids, floats for the lake, a well stocked kitchen, a large open space so we could gather as an extended family during the day, great outdoor space and lots of comfortable seating outside and in. We brought our paddle boards and dropped them in off the dock and that worked great. Jason was quick to respond to any questions. We had a great time!"

  • Comfort and Convenience

"We attended a wedding in Weatherford, and wanted to spend time with the grown children for a long weekend in Ft. Worth. This house was perfect for our needs. It was comfortable and so convenient to get around the area. Great experience."

  • Lake Granbury family vacation July 2016

"The house is big and roomy, 4 bedrooms/1 playroom/2 full baths/1/2 bath - the furnishings are nice enough, and the house was clean. Need to add set of 2 bunk beds for kids in play room vs blow-up mattress, twin mattress on floor. The kitchen is nice and has a 6 burner gas stove, 2 ovens, microwave, large fridge, dishwasher, granite counters. 2 eating areas - 6 or 7 people can eat at each table. It is stocked ok enough with cooking utensils, dull knives, but - no washrags, 1 hot pad, few kitchen towels, and there was only 5 coffe cups - we bought 4 more and left them there. Couple of the Teflon pans need to be thrown away - too old and worn out. We brought our own electric griddle. The pool was great, it is not overly large but adequate size to accommodate everyone. The outdoor kitchen is a nice feature - bring bug spray and fly strips if you take any meals out there - you are eating at a lake after all. The icemaker did not work out there, and the small fridge struggled to keep things cool, but we kept our drinks in coolers. The grill is large and runs on fixed gas/propane line so no need to check tanks. There is an outdoor flat screen TV as well. The dock area is covered and will hold a boat and jetski in stalls. There is a lot of wood/tree debris from the flood back in May/June along this stretch of the shoreline, the owner cleared his area and dock pretty well so you can get a boat in and out to go skiing/fishing. The owners are nice and if you have any problem you can call Robert and he will get right on it. Not to sure about the A/C instructions for the house - don't set temp below 77 F during the summer and not above 70 F during the winter - seems a strange request when you pay $500/night to stay. The only complaint was the temp in the lower Master Bedroom was too hot compared to the rest of the house - had to sleep with the door open and run one of their small fans to blow cooler air from living room into the room to keep it at a comfortable temp for sleeping. The house is not far from town. We will probably come back again for a stay in the future."
