  • Relaxing Kangaroo Lake retreat

"Our family of 4 (with two kids ages 8 and 11), stayed here in July 2016. The cottage is clean and beautiful. It has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths, which surprised me since the description only says 1 bath. The lake is lovely and the location is perfect for seeing all of Door County -- nothing is far. We enjoyed sitting on the dock and kayaking in the lake. Although small, the cottage has all the amenities you could want with the exception of air conditioning. We happened to be there on 2 of the hottest and most humid days and nights of the year. We spent those hot days away from the cottage or in the lake, but at night it was so hot that it was difficult to sleep (and the only reason for my 4 star review). However, I would not hesitate to stay here again during a cooler season. The neighbors were friendly, and we were surprised to find an area for our kids to run around and play catch."

  • Great for families

"We loved the location, size and amenities of this house; just 4 miles south of Canyon Beach (groceries, etc.) but close to (2 1/2 blocks) a very quiet, nearly private and beautiful beach. Loved the path and tunnel! Excellent access to nearby hiking parks and surfing beaches. The house is well equipped but remember to bring your own beach towels. Downstairs bedroom is a bit musty/mildew smelling (especially the closet) if that is an issue for you. We had six adults and two kids there and there was certainly room for a few more kids. Having three bathrooms was a plus. We go to the Oregon Coast every summer (from Lincoln City to Seaside) and this was voted our best yet! Grill needs repair or replacement."

  • Great condo with a terrific location

"I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at this condo in Wailea. The condo itself is beautiful and very well maintained. It's up on a hillside with a lovely view of the ocean and amazing Maui sunsets right from the lanai. It is situated within the Shops at Wailea and, more importantly to us, close to Snorkel Bob's, where we rented snorkel gear, and Lappert's, one of my favorite indulgences. The Ekolu property is covered in flowering plants and had a lovely, clean pool just steps from the condo. Linda has outfitted the place with boogie boards and some snorkel gear. The beds were super comfortable, the neighbors were quiet, the WiFi was good and the few feline visitors were polite and friendly. I would stay here again in an instant and want to go back already!"

  • Great house and stay.

"The house was great and was very spacious for the 3 families who stayed. Close to the fishing grounds and the rest of the sites around Key Largo. Definitely recommend."
