  • Great place to hang out!

"We had a great time at this place! Loved the open space in the home. It has a huge back yard, plenty of room for the kids to run off some of their energy. It also has a firepit - great for making smores - and large back patio with a dining table and seating area. Lots of room for a large group to hang out together. We would definitely stay here again!"

  • Perfection All Around

"This was our second stay here, perfection both times. With our family grown, our times together are few, far between, and so precious - staying in Tiffaney's large and comfortable home lets us have relaxing togetherness you can't get in a hotel or resort - and privacy if anyone needs it. Our time isn't spent rounding up people out of hotel rooms to meet for meals and activities- we're all here! The kitchen is huge and well-appointed, the living areas are spacious but arranged for conversation, and the pool area is an island paradise in the middle of Dallas! Big bathrooms and bedrooms, and the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. Seriously! The neighborhood of adorable single-family homes is central and safe - and easy walking distance to fun restaurants, bars, and shopping- or if you're inclined, lace up and walk the Katy Trail. Tiffaney has thought of everything her guests could want - she's accommodating and responsive - the perfect host - and you will love staying at her beautiful home!"

  • Very clean beach and cute house that needs updates

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: When one plans to have good time with family and friends no matter what, things can change perspective. Anyways I would like to make some observations that can help someone: the location was great besides to be a little far when you come from Houston in a Friday! You can see the beach from the Windows and the deck but can not access to the beach from people's yards , have to walk 1 block or have a golf cart or go with your car. The acces is public so can be crowed but "your beach" is delimited and people respect. If you like to be totally alone the state park is in the other side of the house and you can take your car there. The golf cart is what is on vogue and you can rent one. The house is beautiful but need a good update specially in kitchen and bathroom, I feel I paid it a little pricey. The white paint in cabinets , doors and outside patio/deck furniture need to be better cleaned! (I don't want to see other fingerprints everywhere or seagulls poop on the deck or last guest 's trash). In the other hand, We had a problem with the key (our fault) and call the after hours telephone and in a reasonable amount of time they call us back, which is good to know if you have problems when the rental office is closed."

  • spacious-versatile-

"I give this five stars for its proximity to the beach, overall ambiance, versatility and the wonderful kitchen! The convenient carport allows you to unload in shade/out of rain- and there's room for more than one vehicle. The game room and hot tub were welcome diversions when not walking on beach. A variety of porches maximize views for both sunning and a shady retreat. Furnishings were comfortable, the master bed afforded top quality comfort. The bathrooms were spacious and modern. There are several aspects that were negatives for our group of 11 women. Sleeping arrangements: 5 of the beds are in one room--definitely an arrangement for children. We moved the trundle mattress to another room to avoid being stepped on by the three sleepers in the bunk. The listing is a bit confusing: there are TWO bunk sets-- one in a very plain room on main level, and the dbl/single combo in the room that also includes a twin and trundle. Dining accommodations: The Dining table seats 6 comfortably. Yes, there is room at a counter for 3. But this house is advertised to sleep 11-- logic begs for table seating for 11 as well. In anticipation, we brought a card table and wedged it at the end so we could all dine together. It was crowded. The hot tub is also small, a 4-seater max. I think we got more exercise moving in and out than walking on the beach--- be prepared to climb up and down three flights. Too bad the dumb waiter does not function! Management was accommodating and answered questions. But, print your rules and instructions- there is not a copy in the house."
