  • Beautiful Unit But...

"Upon arrival at Lakeside there was an issue getting to our unit and Rick, the maintenance manager was wonderful in helping us resolve it. He couldn't have been nicer and offered his continued help during our stay (which we did not need as there were no more issues). The unit itself was beautiful, nicer than it looked in the pictures. The rugs and linens were high end and soft, the kitchen well-stocked, I believe there was even a slow cooker. The ice maker was not working but luckily we had brought our own. The master bath was beautiful and the walk-in closet a great addition. There was even an iron and ironing board. The master bedroom itself was a bit small but not a huge deal. Now for the not-so-great: The view was the biggest disappointment. There were no chairs on the deck and I assume the reason is that no one would want to sit out there to see and hear the noisy highway so close! It could even be heard from inside the unit. The picture on the site that shows a lovely view is looking north, so if you sit on the couch and just look out the patio door the view is limited but pretty. We kept the blinds closed on the big windows in the living room as we didn't want to see endless cars passing by. This probably wouldn't be an issue if you visited in the winter and skied all day and were just at the condo after dark, but we were there in the summer for the express purpose of unwinding for a couple of days with a peaceful view. The way the property is set up there is a lot of traffic in and out and it just seems busy and not so much like a getaway. We were also disappointed that even though there were small HD TV's there didn't seem to be HD service which seemed strange for this nice of a property. I would stay in this unit again if it were in a different location, there were units with better views."

  • St George Soccer tournament

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo is first class. there was plenty of rooms with excellent amenities. I was very impressed with the decor and furnishings. We had a group of 11 including 5 boys there for a soccer tournament. Everyone had a great bed and plenty of room. The condo is a little ways out of St George- but it wasn't horrible and the community that they're creating around the condo appears well planned- close to Snow Canyon State Park. We were very pleased with our accommodations and it made for a great trip."

  • Beautiful home, wonderful setting!!!

"This home, located in Sand Hollow Resort next to Sand Hollow State Park, is absolutely beautiful and is in a setting with beautiful mountain views. With 6 bedrooms, the home is large enough to accommodate a large group and is in a great location, within very close proximity to southern Utah's breathtaking national parks, including Zion and Bryce Canyon, and within a couple hour's drive to the Grand Canyon's north rim, all ideal for sightseers and hikers alike. It is also within 20 minutes of St. George, which has several great restaurants. The home has a wonderful, heated, in-ground pool and relaxing, adjoining hot tub. If you don't feel like eating out, this home has a spacious kitchen with everything one needs for cooking or baking. In addition to 3 of the home's 6 bedrooms, the lower level has a pool table and table tennis. Each bedroom, the living room on the main floor and the family room on the lower level has its own TV. The home is also within walking distance to the Resort's beautiful and challenging 18-hole golf course. We can't say enough about this absolutely fabulous property. We hated to leave. And, one more thing, the owners, Bob and Amy Norton, were very helpful and responsive to any needs we had during our stay. They made their home feel like ours. We look forward to our next stay! • Very nice condo

"Moon Haus is great. The unit is newly decorated with good linens, nice furniture, clean bathrooms, good showers, a well stocked kitchen, and lots of extra nice touches. The location is very convenient to the Park City base area (about 150 yard walk across two parking lots and you're at the lifts). 12 min walk to the bottom of Main St with tons of restaurants, shops, etc. There is a bus stop two blocks away with free bus service all over town. The grocery store is in walking distance (7 mins). The Edelweiss complex is an older development that is showing it's age. It's not a glamorous complex but the outdoor pool and hot tub are well maintained and clean. Moon Haus is in the lower rear of the complex so no views and there are a few steps to climb up to get to the walk to the lifts. Overall I would highly recommend Moon Haus. Great location and the owners were friendly, helpful, and quick to respond. Two thumbs up!"
