  • Great stay-- Everything top notch

"We couldn't have been happier with our stay. The house was in a terrific location-- very close to the base at Deer Valley. The local host shopped for us, stocked the fridge before we arrived and was super helpful throughout. Two master bedrooms, two bunk beds in the third bedroom, and garage parking for two large vehicles made life easier for our two-family trip. Five stars."

  • Great location, features, comfort and decorating -- quiet and fun!

"Annually for 30 years, we’ve hiked the week of Labor Day while staying in different locations. This was one of the best. The condo is professionally decorated in a rustic theme that we love, and it is perfect for two couples. There are two large master suites and three bathrooms/showers, which is a great combination after a long hike. The suites are removed from one another, so they’re quiet and private, and each has a very comfortable king-sized bed. We didn’t have time to take advantage of some of the more fun features like the pool table (separate floor), the exercise room (same floor) or the hot tub (on the deck), but the entire building is a vacationer’s dream with a variety of common areas and features shared by very few tenants. The owner and property manager needed to respond to an issue and did so immediately and effectively. You can’t go wrong here; we hope to stay in the condo again."

  • Great Place at a Good Price

"This townhome was perfect for us. We only had 2 couples, but we had 2 king beds and they were on different levels which gave a sense of privacy. The hot tub was a huge bonus for the sore muscles after a day of skiing. As everyone has said, the distance to the shuttle is so short - I could throw a rock to it. But the townhouse is so close to Deer Valley, the guys actually walked home after a day of skiing to stretch out their legs. There is a little market directly across the street that serves delicious foods and you can pick up snacks and beer there. The owner was very helpful and responsive (this was our first rental through VRBO so we were a little clueless). Truly a great location. We would definitely rent this place again in Deer Valley."

  • Great owners and great location combine to create great value in Deer Valley/Park City

"We stayed for Spring Break 2016. First let me say the owners are great. They were very responsive to calls and e-mails. Texting didn't work as well but not that big a deal. The owners clearly care about their property and their guests wellbeing. Second the location is fantastic. This is the 3rd time we've stayed on Deer Valley Drive between DV and PC. The bus system is great and the drive time to PC or DV is minimal if you don't take the bus. Canyons base is only 10 minutes away an an easy drive. The house layout was good. Master down by the garage, bunk room on 2nd level, and then master upstairs along with a "loft" room that share a bath. The living room is large and inviting. Comfy beds and comfy furniture. Good for two families but wouldn't want to push it much past 10 people including kids. Some areas for improvement: - some of our party were put off by the left-over food items in fridge and pantry. Personally I love it - I hate having to buy spices, cooking oil, etc every time I stay at a vacation rental. However there were opened boxes staples in the pantry then some UNOPENED cheese and other dairy items in the fridge that were left over by previous tenants. Perhaps the cleaning service felt it OK to leave unopened items behind but it was a little off-putting for some of our party. - Parking - the garage is SMALL. We each had SUVs (one large, one crossover) and we couldn't fit even the cross over in the garage. Not that big a deal but there wasn't much room to park. The extra spaces near the unit were covered with snow an 100ft walk. We ended up doing fine nosing in the cross-over and using up the full amount of "curbside" space for the larger SUV. - no real mudroom area for skiers. The entrance from the garage is a small stair landing. We use the garage for equipment storage but this rental could really benefit by creating a better "mud-room" area right by the entry door from the garage that had some boot storage. They provide some great plastic trays for boots - I took a picture of the all our ski and snow boots crowding the stair landing! It was packed! - The Loft doesn't have any curtains so it's open to any light coming from the kitchen/living room area. This would be an easy fix - we hung a few blankets. Final synopsis - we've stayed in higher-end places in DV. This place is a 5* location with 5* owners. Great for families seeking value in DV."
