  • Luxury and Convenience

"Wow! This is the 5th year we have stayed in John & Luann's lovely condo and we will definitely return. The unit is so close to slopes, dining and entertainment that you can really relax and not have to venture out into surrounding areas. The Stein Erickson Lodge is close by for spa services/dining/après ski and the Goldner Hirsch is ,too! Book this condo and just enjoy beautiful Siler Lake!"

  • PERFECT FAMILY SKI TRIP

"Wow! We can't say enough about our wonderful week at Abode Glenfiddich in Deer Valley, We were a 3 generation family of 8 and Glenfiddich fit our needs perfectly. The family with children stayed up stairs in the loft and the rest of the adults were down stairs away from the chaos. The condo was better equipped than my own home. The home was furnished with a luxe western theme and coming from Miami, that was just what we wanted. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The bath towels were plush and the bed linens comfy. There was even one humidifier. We never used the hot tub because the jacusi tubs in the bathrooms were so inviting. We loved the gas quick start fireplaces. Even though our week in Utah barely got above 0, we were always very warm even with the thermostats on 68. As we rented on-line, I was very pleased to see that the condo looked even better than the on-line photos. I'm sure this condo would be just as enjoyable in summer as in winter. The ONLY drawback for some people would be the flight of stairs. There is no elevator. The owner/managers were always responsive to our needs. We loved their help in setting up reservations ahead of time. Their suggestions for the Snowed Inn Sleigh Ride and Dinner and Riverhorse restaurant were terrific. We would highly recommend both. As for Deer Valley as a ski resort, I've never seen better service. We loved that there were no snow boarders, no lift lines and an incredible children's program. We hope to be back in a couple of years!"

  • Perfect Ski Trip

"We stayed here for a 5-day ski vacation and the condo was just about perfect! The location can't be beat - 1 minute drive to Deer Valley (which really, even my young kids could have walked, but drive/park was so easy we opted to do that) and 3-minute drive to Main Street, park city. We loved the magnificent view of the slopes out the front and enjoyed the hot tub after skiing every evening, and the wi fi was fast and reliable. The kitchen was equipped with the basics to cook meals, and even a few extras like a big griddle for pancakes in the morning. I really liked the layout with the bedrooms on the first floor and a loft upstairs ... My kids had a separate space to play up there, and even found board games, movies and cards that they enjoyed. The only "odd" thing about the layout is that the only table is upstairs. It wasn't a big deal to us because we are a family of 4 and there were 4 chairs at the kitchen bar area which made for easy serving, but if we had more people we would have had to bring food upstairs to all sit down. As it was, our kids used the upstairs table to play board games :) We'll definitely plan to stay here again next family vacation in Deer Valley!"

  • Good location, place needs updating

"The location of the condo and the convenience of the parking garage is a great plus. The concierge at the front is present and helpful. That being said, the condo needs to be upgraded and furnished better. The kitchen has a great updated range but the kitchen supplies are lacking and aren't in any order. Rusty sheet pans, Tupperware with no lids, pans with no lids. Lots of wine glasses everywhere but not many regular glasses. There was hair in the sink when we arrived. The TV is great and works but the couch in fraying at the bottom and is exposing the frame. The rugs probably need some steam cleaning as well because they seemed dusty. The bathrooms are nice and updated and there was always great water pressure and hot water but it would have been a nice plus if there was a first aid kit or basic amenities like hair dryer. The bedrooms are spacious but the mattresses need updating b/c they're sagging and appear old. Overall, nice location, helpful owner, but some work needs to be done to update the condo in my opinion."
