  • It was a great place to stay.

"It was a very nice complex, quiet, with very friendly people. It was convenient to everything that we had planned. The biggest complaint would be not being able to connect to the WiFi. It was very frustrating because our cell service didn't always pick up and we didn't want to use up our data plan. The other minor issues were things that the ceiling fan in the master bedroom was super dusty, I had to clean it myself before we could turn it on and the pool needed to have a skimmer available so you could get leaves out. But all in all it was a great place to stay."

  • Great vacation property!

"We spent 4 nights in Kanab at the cottage. It was a good fit for our family. We had 7 of us and had plenty of room to spread out. Everyone loved the front porch in the afternoon for a gathering spot, and we had the fire pit and the back patio for evening grilling and chilling. The kitchen was roomy (though a bit dark) and well supplied. Plenty of seating for all inside and out. Laundry is available in the basement. The house is so central to the sights. We did a day at Zion (45 minutes), day at Bryce (1 1/2 hours), and Lake Powell/Lower Antelope Canyon (about 1 1/2 hours). The Grand Canyon is about an hour or more south, but it was closed when we were there. We were able to walk everywhere in town for breakfast or dinner, the food store is close by for supplies. We did have a few gripes. The shower, while newly renovated and modern, was either running out of hot water or the water was too hot and couldn't be turned down. Seemed a little out of place in an old house, but it was nice when it worked for the lucky ones who got the hot water. Upstairs ceiling is low, so tall people beware. Nice apartment type arrangement up there with private bath and living room separate from the rest of the house. We did blow the circuit breaker turning on a stand-up lamp at the top of the stairs. The back patio and yard were great, but we felt like it hadn't been tended in a while. We had to sweep up a lot of dirt and leaves before we hung out there, and there was a hole dug in the at the edge of the patio which hadn't been filled in yet. There seemed to be outdoor speakers and party lights, but we never did figure out how to get any of those working. Those were minor items overall as the overall experience was great - everyone had a wonderful time and loved hanging out at the house. Highly recommend it for a group or family vacation!"

  • Awesome and Convenient home

"The condo is very well maintained with all the essential supplies needed for a family of 4. If you have 2 kids this is the perfect place. The town of Kanab is ideally located to make day trips to Zion, Bryce and the northern rim of the Grand Canyon. The pink sand dunes are a great visit. We loved the house and the place. A thumbs up."

  • A true home away from home (plus more!)!!

"Let's start with the basics - it's well located if you're going to Zion, Bryce, Page, Lake Powell, and other attractions within driving distance of Kanab. You’re about 2 minutes of driving and 15 minutes walking from Kanab. You’re remote but not too far removed as the house sits on 2 acres (or felt like it). The cabin has a fantastic front and back porch and the neighborhood itself is very quiet. We’d sit on the back porch in the morning to watch the moon-set and on the front porch at night to watch the stars come out. While there are two bedrooms, we only slept in one; the bed was very comfortable and the sheets were soft. I appreciated having ceiling fans in the house and the abundance of windows that let in all the wonderful natural light. We've been staying at HomeAway/VRBO properties for years and this is the first one that seemed to have EVERYTHING. Again, having been at other HA/VRBO properties, there was always something missing – either a kitchen item, plastic bags, soap. Nope, not here. It’s well equipped. This is truly a pet friendly cabin as there is a drawer dedicated to pet toys and supplies and an entire bin/basket for blankets. (It's worth noting the backyard is fenced in.) We have tried to think of something constructive that they could improve upon and nothing comes to mind. We didn’t use the TV, gas heater, Weber cooker; the washing machine/dryer, gas stove, and WiFi were all perfect."
