  • Moab Pearl is a real jewel

"We spent 7 nights at the Moab Pearl in late September. The house is a gem: beautiful and interesting architecture (read the story of straw bale houses), lots of windows with nice views, 3 different outdoor spaces to use, comfortable furniture, well equipped kitchen, plenty of storage space, interesting "artsy" touches everywhere, birds and rabbits in the beautifully landscaped yard, gorgeous view of the night sky. The mattress in the master bedroom was the best for my back I have ever tried (what is the brand??). We only have a few suggestions for improvement. - Some of the rugs really need to be cleaned, - A number of light bulbs were burned out, - The area around the house is a mish-mash, not nearly as attractive as the Pearl. Landscaping to block the buildings and bright lights would help."

  • Great location, beautiful house!

"House was well set up when we got there. Kitchen has a decent amount of pots and pans and utensils for cooking. Could use a few more hand towels, but that would really be my only negative for the house. Awesome location out of town, tons of space. Thanks a bunch!"

  • Most Awesome Venue in Moab!

"We have a group that stays at the Moab House each year for one of the race weekends, and we have, without exception, had a stellar experience with Marcee and the house. It's the perfect size for a large group of 8 -12, and everything is so cheerful, clean and organized (all the kitchen drawers are labeled, which made my boyfriend happy). It's within walking distance of all the downtown local businesses, which makes it perfect for going out to dinner and being able to walk home safely. There is close access to the bike trail on the creek that runs through town. Another great feature is a little gazebo in the back yard, which is perfect for outdoor parties. One of our crew always throws her dad a little birthday party / BBQ in the afternoon, since we always come on the same weekend each year. Versatility and lots of room make it an easy choice for our group. Also, I left my favorite tunic there this year, and Marcee mailed it to me right away, which I really appreciated! It's our home away from home in Moab!"

  • Awesome!

"We loved our stay. Everything was perfect and even better than described. We liked that this place was away from the hubbub of downtown Moab during a very busy weekend, but still only a few minutes to drive to the eateries, stores, shops, and beautiful sites of Arches, Canyonlands, and Dead Horse Point. If you are looking for a quiet, comfy, homey place to stay, this is a must."
