  • Another Great Ski Vacation

"This is the second year we stayed in the unit, and it was fabulous once again. We love the ski services offered as well as the adult pool area, and you can't beat just walking out and heading to the slopes. The unit is nicely appointed, and the owner makes the process smooth and easy. We'll be back next year!"

  • The unit we stayed in was great and as advertised

"I am giving 5 stars but the property is very broken up and you need to look at a map almost every time you are trying to exit or go to a pool, boot locker, or market. Ski valet is a nice service. They bring your skis righ to the bottom of the gondola for you, but you have to walk about 100 yards in boots to get there. It took about 2 days to really start to figure things out. The base area of the canyons is not laid out well for getting kids skis and them to ski school in the morning. The drafts restaurant/bar is below par. The edge steakhouse is great and very expensive. Take the free resort shuttle into Park City for dinner and shopping. Canyons area does not have many dining options. Grocery stores and Walmart are a close drive."

  • Perfect Ski Weekend

"The Presidential Suite is perfect for a large group, with plenty of space for everyone to sleep, relax and enjoy the comforts of a great resort. We will definitely stay again if and when our group returns to Park City."

  • Great Ski in- Ski out locations

"A girlfriend and I did a ski vacation, staying in this studio for 5 nights. When we first arrived, we had a heck of a time getting to know Westgate. It's a bit confusing, floors are not connected all the way around and you have to take elevators up and over to get to different parts of the hotel. Once we figured it out, we were fine. The studio is small but it worked for the two of us. I wouldn't try to put 4 adults in the room. My girlfriend had a vehicle, so we found the best place to park is in #363 or near that parking spot for ease of getting from the car to the studio. (We kept our skis and boots in her vehicle instead of lugging them to the ski storage in the hotel). We did go to the grocery store to pick up some items for breakfast. I bought some coffee for the coffee maker but I didn't check to see if there were filters. There weren't any in the studio so I had to have the hotel send some up. They were not the right size for the maker (charged me $1 for 12 of them) but I made it work. We had issues with the heat not staying on for very long. Yes, it was a cold week but it would turn on for 10 seconds and then turn back off. The shower was awesome with the steam. The bed was comfortable and the room was dark with the curtains. It would be great if there was a drying basket for wet ski clothes. I'm not sure where you would put it though. We used the hot tub and sauna every night, which were nice perks. We also used the hotel shuttle service to get around in Park City. We had a couple of hiccups with communication but it was a nice perk too and convenient. The skiing was awesome at the Canyons. We just walked through the hotel with our gear and walked to the gondola. Very convenient and it was what I was hoping for. We had a blast and will hopefully come back next year. It was one of my best trips."
