  • Christmas in Park City

"We stayed at Rene's Empire House for one week over Christmas and had a wonderful time. Her place is literally at the base of Park City mountain and you only have to walk across the parking lot to get to the lifts. We rented our skis so just carried our ski boots over to rental place that stores your skis daily. Very convenient location! We did not rent a car but used the free local shuttle bus to get around. It was so easy and much better than trying to find a parking spot on Main Street. As for the condo, her kitchen is well equipped, the place is super comfortable and charming. It is perfect for one couple or a small family as the couch pulls out. The only downside was there was a snow shovel person that was doing this at 6AM for some reason around the hot tub area. I still don't know why he had to do this so early but it did wake me up - although it was not every morning. Also the internet service is a bit spotty but Rene tried to fix the problem and it was coming from the service provider. I would definitely stay here again - it was a great vacation!!! Rene is very nice and makes sure her condo is well stocked with everything you need."

  • Great condo!

"We enjoyed our stay very much! Very convenient to the canyons ski base area. The garage was awesome. The kitchen was nicely equipped with everything we needed but kind of small. We were disappointed that there was no outdoor grill. The carpet appeared to be new. It was nice and lush and very clean. We packed light and used the stackable washer and dryer which was very nice. There were lots of towels, but had to wash towels everyday because there were only 5 wash cloths...bummer but just a minor inconvenience. Owner needs to invest in washcloths and dishcloths. The jacuzzi tubs in both bathrooms were great. Both bedrooms had their own private baths which was wonderful for 2 couples. Would stay here again!"

  • Location! Location! Location!

"Walk to the slopes. Walk to the supermarket. Walk to Main St/downtown PC. In real estate, it's all about the location. Bus access is just as easy, if walking isn't your thing. Nice pool and hot tub. The kids liked the loft. Plenty of firewood and cookware/pots/pans. Microwave popcorn and hot chocolate were already in the cabinets, as well as plastic bags for food storage and reusable shopping bags for groceries. Kristian was very responsive to my initial rental inquiries and follow up emails. Not an elevator building. The unit was a good value; we were in town to ski not spend time in the condo. If you are really into mountain decor and interior design, this may not be your ideal home away from home, but for access to all that Park City has to offer, you can't beat Snowcrest 308."
