  • Better than we thought possible

"We have stayed in Lower Deer Valley several years. Each time, we have had to deal with entrance stairs to the kitchen and living area which are very difficult when you have groceries and young children. We rented this townhouse because it was advertised as no stairs to living area. We entered into a large two car heated garage. We opened the door and saw the living room, dining room, kitchen and a bath....all on the same level. A miracle! It was so much easier. We also found a screened deck with a gas grill, next to the dining room. We felt at home. The kitchen was fully equipped with dishes for 12, Even a lobster pot, a crock pot, a blender and a waffle iron. It was the best equipped of any rental we have stayed in. All the bedrooms had large windows and private baths. We previously stayed in units where we found windowless, cold, basement rooms advertised as bedrooms. Each bedroom had an electric fireplace, which was very comfy and warm. The floor plan was perfect for our family, since we traveled as three generations: two married couples, two college students and three young children. The children loved the extra TV room with video games. The location was the best! We were all able to go skiing and return, using the free ski buses. This was helpful because some of us skied Deer Valley and some of us snowboarded at Park City. The college kids were able to go out to Main Street at night and we didn't have to worry about their driving. One night, they walked home. Other nights, they took the bus. I would recommend this townhouse to anyone. We will return next winter."

  • Easy ski access

"We have come to park city at least 10 of the last 15 years, staying at both Park City and Canyons over the years. We stayed in a larger snow flower unit 15 years ago when we had 8 people traveling and really liked the location. This unit size was great for the three of us. The convenience of snow flower cannot be beat. A real ski in ski out location from building 2. If you have young kids this access is much easier than staying at the base of canyons, where you might have to walk a very long distance within the building before you make it outside to the lifts. This unit is comfortable and basic. The lockers on the ground floor are very convenient. The laundry room is very close. Free parking underground is great. I'd recommend ear plugs since you are so close to the base area the snow cats can be loud at night. Celeste was wonderful to work with. It was My first time booking on vrbo. I was getting very discouraged because so many of the owners I contacted had not updated their calendar or their rates were inaccurate. . Also many listings were really realtors again with inaccurate rates/ availability. Celeste's listing was accurate (availability and rate) and she replied to my inquiry very promptly. It was very nice to know she was nearby (in Slc). She was very flexible with a late checkout since no one was checking in, which was wonderful. Would definitely book with Celeste again and recommend to my friends."

  • Great location, fabulously furnished, perfect host

"What a wonderful location and perfectly presented "condo". Communication with Kitty was excellent which put my mind at ease as I was communicating and booking from Australia. Not knowing Park City at all, I trusted Kitty's advice and so glad I did. The condo is directly across from the Park City car park (Eagle/First timers chair and ticket office) and an easy walk, but even better - a short (free) bus commute to the main resort plaza area. Fabulous views across the front of the mountain. Snow Crest is also wonderfully located, with a supermarket a short walk away (Tip - take your suitcase on wheels when shopping if you don't have a car - easy to load your shopping and wheel home!!) Then if you want restaurants, bars and quaint shopping its just a short bus trip to Main street, but even nicer to stretch ones legs for a fifteen minute walk (tops) to Main Street. The "condo" was impeccably clean and comfortably furnished with lovely decor and a well equipped kitchen which was a Godsend after a days skiing too exhausted to go out for dinner. Importantly, the master bed was extremely comfortable as was the pull out sofa bed. And what a bonus having a log fire! A real snow experience! Then to top it off we really enjoyed the outdoor heated pool and spa (hot tub). I was travelling with a friend and we have both only skied in Australia - so glad Vail has bought Perisher as it gave us the opportunity to use our Freedom (Epic) pass at Park City. So I highly recommend anyone (especially other Aussies) to contact Kitty and book her apartment. Nothing was a bother, full of great advice and tips. Will definitely be coming back next year and might even make it during the summer as well - Kitty has sold us on all the summer activities the area has to offer as well. Plan to recommend the place to all our friends, as long as you always book us in first Kitty!"
