"This was a genuinely good rental property, as expected and true to the photos, it was very neat and clean. It's a cozy little rental with well documented instructions. The bed is definitely comfortable and the living room is intimate and warm. There were ample bath towels, that were nice and soft and the lotion was a nice touch as well. The dishwasher was very efficient and cleaned the dishes well. The fireplace was also a nice inclusion and quite frankly did a spectacular job in heating the common areas.
There were some minor house keeping issues and really nothing to make a big deal about. With a bit more oversight from the cleaning crew these minor issues could be easily addressed. We did end up buying two dish towels as there really was only one. The owner was made aware of the minor house keeping issue and lack of towels. I'm confident based on my interactions with the owner and the overall cleanliness of the home both with will be addressed.
It was winter when we rented and well, snowing quite a bit when we were there, we were hoping to find a shovel. However, to no avail, we could not locate one. Fortunately, the upstairs tenant seemed to keep things clear. If there had been a shovel, we would have been happy to do our share.
Finally not a big concern but I'd offer the sink in the master side of the bathroom unit is relatively short - it came up to mid thigh on an average size adult. This was - from what I could tell - the standard sink unit for those buildings. Yet, the owner may want to consider replacing as they did with the other sink."
