  • Great Family Getaway

"We recently stayed at Rockin E Ranch with 6 adults and 6 children. This cabin was a perfect fit for our mini family reunion-great views, enough beds for everyone and plenty of space. Although the cabin is close to lake access and town it is far away from neighbors and has a secluded feel. The rental company was great to work with also. We would love to come back here in the future!"

  • Homey

"This is our second stay at this property. On both occasions we've found it a comfortable base for attending plays at the Utah Shakespeare Festival. It's easy walking distance to USU and our favorite Cedar City restaurant (to be truthful, the only Cedar City restaurant we've enjoyed)-- Centro. If it's available next year, I imagine we'll be back a third time."

  • Clean, comfortable, convenient

"We stayed at this house in a residential neighborhood as part of three couples who met for a week of skiing. The location was great, close to both Little Cottonwood and Big Cottonwood Canyons. We also drove to Deer Valley and Snowbasin, about 1 hour away. Smiths supermarket only blocks away. And 10 minutes from a local ski shop where we could buy some discount lift tickets. We cooked dinner almost every night, and this kitchen was large and was well supplied with everything we needed to cook with. Dining room easily sat 6 people. The house was immaculately cleaned before we moved in, and there was new soap, shampoo, conditioner, and even hand lotion in the bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. The master bedroom was very spacious. Big screen TV, fussball, and pool table entertained us. There is another bed upstairs in the large game room area which was screened off for privacy, so another couple could sleep there (although there would be a small extra charge for more than 6 people.) There is also a west facing deck with a view of Salt Lake City where we sat and had beer and appetizers every night after skiing. The hot tub was cleaned just before we arrived (by the property manager who lives downstairs) so was not available the first night. It worked beautifully the other nights, though, and it was fun to sit there and watch the alpenglow on the mountains and see the lights flicker on down in the valley. The bathrooms had many extra towels which we could use for the hot tub. The only thing I would mention is that there is a friendly (but quite large) Great Dane who lives in the downstairs property. He would come outside in the evening while we were in the hot tub to greet us. If you are afraid of dogs, you would want to tell the property manager about that, so that she could keep the dog away from you."

  • Could use some work, but we enjoyed it!

"This is our second time staying here. We enjoy how close it is to the water and shops in Garden City. We also like everyone gets their own bed. A few things I would change is the condition inside. It is clean, but falling a part a bit and bring your own vegetable peeler and salt because there wasn't any there. Over all we like it and will probably stay there again."
