  • Ski Visit - Feb 2016reco

"We were very pleased with the property. The private garage is a nice set up and could easily fit a large vehicle such as a Tahoe, etc. The room layout is very nice as the 2 bedrooms are at the opposite ends of the condo. The owners had the condo very well stocked with household supplies so no need to buy those. The location is outstanding as you can walk to several Redstone restaurants. Direct TV is also a nice setup. Obviously, nothing is ever perfect. The only things that were would have liked to have seen was 1) DVD player as we had brought some DVD's to watch 2) Wine opener......however one of the 2 couples had that in their luggage...so no big deal here. Overall, we were happy with this condo and would recommend it others and would stay there again."

  • Adult Family Ski Trip!!

"We went to Utah for some spring skiing. There were 9 adults. The space was fantastic. The living room was big, the kitchen had everything you needed and the hut tub was perfect for after skiing. 15 min from snowbird--the location was ideal. Kevin was very available. He gave us discounted lift tickets and discounted ski rentals. Kevin was also very available by phone/email for pre-trip questions. Would definitely stay again."

  • Perfect location, beautifully maintained.

"Comfortable, well furnished, and with all the amenities. Spotless when we checked in and clearly a well maintained property. Lots of windows to let in the fall sunshine. Very well supplied kitchen including a food processor and a le crusette dutch oven. The steam shower is a treat and would be even more so after a day of skiing. Parking is a breeze, but we only parked once as we could walk to everything. Just a block from the library field/dog park and the city park, an easy stroll up Main Street to all the art galleries and dining choices, and quick access to mountain bike trail heads just up the slope. Rene was extremely helpful while we were making the arrangements and I felt free to contact her should we have any problems. But, no problems -- everything worked as described in the check in information. We will definitely keep Rene's Empire House on our list for future get aways and will recommend it to friends and family. The only negative I would report is the steep stairs. They were not an issue for us, but anyone with knee or hip problems should give it some thought."

  • Yep, This Is the Condo You're Looking For

"Just as described: spacious condo, ideally located. Comparably priced (sometimes less) than the local hotel chains nearby for a double room without any of the amenities this place offers. Information in a well-organized binder makes it easy to know whatever you need to know about anything during your stay. Condo really does have everything: 2-car is garage, bikes and lock, coolers, grill and propane, pool down the street, private hot tub, plenty of linens and towels, lots of closet space, computer and printer, wifi, dishwasher, washer & dryer, handy appliances like coffee grinder and blender. In addition to being a few blocks from the "main strip", it's also down the street from the hospital and a big park/playground at the aquatic center (especially great if you have younger kids). If you're considering this place, just do it. You really can't find any place that checks off all the boxes like this one."
