  • Solid Solitude Rental

"We love Solitude!! Perfect place for 7 families to rent their own units and have a great time together. This is a nice sized unit close to the slopes. A few things for renters to note: The "2 car garage" will only fit one normal sized car and if you have a Suburban (we had two) you'll be lucky to get one of them in the garage (we had to park diagonally). The house layout is nice but be aware that the upper loft with "bonus Queen Bedroom" does not have a door to the "bedroom" and neither does the additional "den" sleeping area with the sleeper sofa. The loft bunk room was great and accommodated a bunch of kids. Overall a solid place to stay but we wish that the layout and size of the garage had been made more clear. Susan the owner was good to deal with."

  • Our Best Fourth of July Weekend

"This cabin exceeded our expectations. We wanted a quick getaway from the heat of Las Vegas for Independence Day weekend and to meet up with friends who live in Northern Utah. We were not prepared for how beautiful the scenery would be, especially from the wrap-around deck. We loved all the outdoor space and saw birds, squirrels, chipmunks, and were able to watch shooting stars each evening. The indoor space was also welcoming and spacious. The windows are huge and provide spectacular views. The only tricky thing about the cabin was to navigate was the stairs (the master bedroom is located upstairs). The stairs are windy and steep, so our friends who shared the cabin with us left their luggage on the main level during out stay. The space upstairs is lovely, it can just be tricky to get to. (This serves more as a warning in case you are planning on taking elderly guests or those with mobility issues to this location.) There is also another bedroom on the main level where my husband and I stayed, and it was great with a comfortable bed. There were a lot of cobwebs and spiders, which is expected for this area; but it seems like the cleaning service needs to give certain areas a once-over before guests arrive. There is also no dishwasher, so be aware when making a menu plan. We cooked all of our breakfasts and dinners here, and other than lack of dishwasher, the kitchen is ideal. We loved having easy access to Brian Head and the nearby national parks. If you're ever in the Brian Head area over the 4th, be sure and drive to the resort area and watch the fireworks. The show is unparalleled. Ron was responsive to our requests , was in constant communication with us, and confirmed a quote for us in a timely fashion. All in all, we can't wait to go back and stay here again. You won't get better scenery for the price."

  • Easy ski access

"We have come to park city at least 10 of the last 15 years, staying at both Park City and Canyons over the years. We stayed in a larger snow flower unit 15 years ago when we had 8 people traveling and really liked the location. This unit size was great for the three of us. The convenience of snow flower cannot be beat. A real ski in ski out location from building 2. If you have young kids this access is much easier than staying at the base of canyons, where you might have to walk a very long distance within the building before you make it outside to the lifts. This unit is comfortable and basic. The lockers on the ground floor are very convenient. The laundry room is very close. Free parking underground is great. I'd recommend ear plugs since you are so close to the base area the snow cats can be loud at night. Celeste was wonderful to work with. It was My first time booking on vrbo. I was getting very discouraged because so many of the owners I contacted had not updated their calendar or their rates were inaccurate. . Also many listings were really realtors again with inaccurate rates/ availability. Celeste's listing was accurate (availability and rate) and she replied to my inquiry very promptly. It was very nice to know she was nearby (in Slc). She was very flexible with a late checkout since no one was checking in, which was wonderful. Would definitely book with Celeste again and recommend to my friends."

  • IDEAL LOCATION, spacious and cozy property on quiet street, very responsive and personable owner :-)

"My wife and I stayed here with our 34-month-old twins. A couple of my siblings stayed here for a while, as well. Suffice to say, we had plenty of space. The great room is, well, great. The balcony is nice and overlooks a mellow street. The bedrooms range from spacious to big enough. The beds are very comfy. We were very happy with the bathrooms. The kitchen is just right, as well. The hot tub is sweet. There is plenty of parking: one vehicle in the garage and one in the driveway. Moreover, you do NOT need a parking permit to park on Woodside Avenue. You can also walk to Main Street in 10-15 minutes; otherwise, take the free bus. Park City City Park is a stone's throw away, as is the library. Our kids were really happy everywhere in PC. Last but not least: Pam, the owner, is very amiable and bends over backwards to ensure that her guests are very happy. We highly recommend this property with no reservations whatsoever. Indeed, I am extremely doubtful that you will find such an excellent value anywhere in the Park City area! Enjoy your stay! - Brian"
