  • Serene location

"The house is spacious, clean, and on a lovely, quiet road. No one is currently living in the house, so the kitchen is sparsely outfitted - but when we needed a large pot, the owner (who lives very nearby) kindly came over and brought a perfect pot from his own kitchen. You may also need to bring some basic condiments - and wood for the fireplace! The house is ideal for a family gathering and it is convenient to skiing and Woodstock village. The owner was very helpful and responsive. The property is currently on the market."

  • Cozy Cabin with tons of Privacy and Very Close to Okemo Mtn.

"This is a great cozy cabin that has 3 bedrooms (2 upstairs, 1 downstairs) and 2 full bathrooms (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs) which is great for three couples or family/friends. We stayed over NYE weekend, and it was a perfect location secluded and away from everything, yet only about 10 minutes to Okemo Mtn. or 45 min. to Killington for skiing/snowboarding. The driveway had plenty of parking for multiple cars. The dining room and living room were a great size for all 6 of us to hang out and be comfortable. The steps are a little steep/narrow to get upstairs- you just have to be careful. The hot tub was very clean and a nice amenity to have. The fire stove was also very nice to have and made the living/dining room very warm quickly. The full fridge/dishwasher/stove/microwave were great to have. We cooked every night we were there which was nice. Ward was very accommodating and his recommendations were helpful. He responded in a timely manner and returned our security deposit the day after we departed."

  • Cozy and large!

"This apartment had lovely views and a well equipped kitchen as described. Brigid even pulled out the charcoal grill w accessories when asked. There is a large snow mobile trail at the rear of the property. Okemo is maybe fifteen minutes door to door. How nice. The nest thermostat was a nice touch. Loved having a full bath. There is a shared entry to the main house to access the apartment to be mindful of if you intend on complete seclusion. A tool room or shop may be located under the apartment and noise can be heard if people are there but this only occurred one evening and was not bad. If I had to make two suggestions it may be a new mattress in the king room and a new tv. That said, the place is lovely and we'd come back. The hosts are gracious."

  • Wonderful inviting place for our large group.

"The condo was clean, comfortable, spacious, and very inviting. We had a group of 13 for the week and there was enough room for everyone. The only thing that would have made it any better is if there was a hot tub at the house. The clubhouse was a small walk but with all the snow that fell it was a little difficult to get there with the slippery conditions. Overall it was a very enjoyable stay and the house was wonderful."
