  • Awesome place to stay

"This condo is great. There was 8 in our group from VA for our 5 day adventure and it did not feel crowded at all, plenty of room for everyone and thier gear. He has shuttle to slope in the ad but that makes it seem like it is far away but it took less than 5 minutes to walk to it so we never waited for the shuttle. The place is a bit dated as far as fixtures (not in a bad way at all). The kitchen is up to speed and the only thing we found we needed was a sheet pan and 2" deep baking pan. We will definitely be back again next year."

  • Fantastic!

"We stayed at this beautiful property for a weekend to attend a wedding in Middlebury. The Swallows Nest was perfect! We met the owner Lyn who was warm, welcoming and very willing to give us information about the area. Lyn gave us a history of the farm the amazing repairs that they have done to the barns so far and what will done in the future. So many birds, turkeys, geese, herons, ducks, hummingbirds, of course swallows and a furry woodchuck. The cottage was very clean, comfortable, quite and had everything you could need. We would and will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. One thing to note, there is NO TV. Which is FINE by me - great chance to disconnect from the world. Wi-Fi is available. Thanks so much for a great stay!"

  • Outstanding house with great equipment, beautiful surroundings

"We spent one week at Amy's house on Chittenden Reservoir together with our friends (a party of nine in total). The house is in perfect condition and absolutely well-maintained - clean, tidy and "equipped" with lots of personal atmosphere. We enjoyed cooking in the spacious kitchen and didn't miss a single kitchen supply (our youngest kids, aged 10, even prepared pancakes themselves). In the evenings, we made use of the incredible amount and variety of board games which are located in the shelves leading to the upper floor. Amy gave us good directions of how to get to the house and we even found a little welcoming present on arrival (surprise!) - whenever we had a question, Amy would reply instantly. We got great restaurant recommendations (Table 24 had excellent food) and really helpful hints of what to do next to using the lake, of course (horse riding, hiking, frisbee golf, ...). The location of the house itself is breathtaking - right at the lake and swimming, kayaking, stand-up-paddling, .... are available for you any time of day. And don't miss to go out on the lake on a stary night - you'll never forget that experience (well at least we dind't), the milky way is so close! It's definitely the best house we have ever been and if Germany was a little closer to the US (we are Germans), we would make sure to be there more often."
