  • Very cozy, close to the mountains! Just what we were looking for!

"We had a great stay here, it sleeps 8 comfortably and has lots of parking. Ray is a very nice host and is great with email communication regarding rental details. Would definitely come back!"

  • Perfect for our Family!

"This was a wonderful place to stay. The owners are very responsive and wonderful to work with. The house is well stocked with kitchen supplies, movies, games, and firewood. We were only 4 miles from Stratton Lodge (about 8 minute drive) and right in the heart of the little town of Whinhall. There are 3 bedrooms that sleep 7 on the first floor, along with 2 full bathrooms. The living room, dining and kitchen are on second floor and a spacious loft with bed and futon overlook living area. I would strongly recommend staying here with your family."

  • Fantastic For Large Group

"We visited Jay with a group of 14 adults. The accommodations in the house were perfect. We bring all of our own food for the long weekend, so having two refrigerators was a huge help. We made use of the large grill outside and hand plenty of seating, plates and utensils for our meals. The space was open and welcoming for such a large group and the sleeping arrangements were comfortable with nothing lacking. The location was super easy being right off the Grammy Jay trail and very close to the Stateside Lodge where we left cars. If we get this same size group again next year, we'll plan to come to the same place."

  • Home away from home

"What a comfortable peaceful place to spend some winter time! After an "interesting" ride up the road, passing a beautiful lake on the left and Okemo trails on the right, we pulled up to the log cabin which was secluded enough without being in the middle of nowhere. The house is beyond comfortable with plenty of sleeping and seating room. The kitchen is huge with more than enough supplies. The hot tub was a real treat! The living room has three walls of windows with a wood burning stove. I slept in that room one night and woke up to a magnificent sunrise. Leslee was easily reachable and caretaker Jim was a gem! The back road to Okemo was useful. All of my guests were quite impressed with the comfort of this house and it's location."
