  • Excellent Experience

"We loved our stay . The condo was perfect for our family. The beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was perfect for making after skiing meals. We brought our dogs and there were many places to walk. The condo is on the access road to the mountain which is always maintained. It is also by the golf course. Good restaurants are also close."

  • We immediately felt at home

"This was our first experience with Home Away and we found it to be effortless! The home is beautiful and the location is prime. Unfortunately we were unable to take advantage of the ski on-ski off aspect of the location (due to lack of snow in the woods) but the Base Lodge is only a few minutes drive. There is plenty of space for all to relax and unwind in this homey, cozy, well-equipped space. Also plenty of storage area for ski equipment and clothing. Everything was in working order...we used the fireplace and the grill with no problem. Our stay was over the Christmas holiday (as our son had to work snow-making at the Resort) so we brought a small 4-foot Christmas tree along with presents and stockings and really made the place feel like home! The restaurant recommendations from the owner were perfect! We made wonderful family memories and I would absolutely recommend this home...and would love to return!"

  • Quaint, well furnished house with fantastic view of the Mad River Valley

"I've rented this house several seasons. It is beautify, well furnished, and provides excellent proximity to Sugarbush and Mad River Glen. The area is quite rural, and wonderfully quiet. Its the perfect get away, while being close to some of the best resorts Vermont has to offer. Importantly, the WIFI is excellent and our whole family had no bandwidth issues...."

  • Restful and cozy!

"We had a great time at the Nolan property for a week over Thanksgiving. We were there for the one time a year when we are all with our four children, their spouses and our grandchildren all together. It snowed and there was plenty of firewood to help us feel warm and cozy with our cocktails and each other's company. There is plenty of room to spread out. Although the kitchen remodel wasn't finished yet, it was quite workable (and our group included a chef and a pastry chef). The lower level has basically it's own two bedroom apartment, so the extra kitchen came in very handy with feeding such a large crowd. Beautiful scenic view of the Mad River Glen ski slopes. Worth a stay!"
