  • Great Last Minute Stay in Chester

"Me, my partner, his mother and our little dog found this gem very last minute in order to extend our vacation by one day in Vermont. The experience was great from the very beginning. Cara responded right away to our request and answered all our questions via email within minutes. We were staying only a few minutes from Chester and we were able to check in early, right after we checked out of our previous property. The gentleman who greeted us at the property (he lives attached, which is very convenient) showed us around and was able to answer our random questions about the place, such as the wifi password. Other than when we bothered him, he was quite unobtrusive and the setting felt very private. The barn itself is absolutely beautiful and felt much more spacious than the pictures indicate. The large windows allowed for lots of natural light and the huge beams and planks were wonderful to look at. The kitchen was great and had all a cook could ask for...we were sorry we weren't staying longer to really make use of it. It was a perfect size for our little family and two full washrooms definitely helped the morning getting ready process. The property is in a great location walkable to the shops in Chester and a short drive to many other towns. We will definitely be staying here again if we are in the area!"

  • Luxurious renovated farmhouse with gorgeous views!

"We stayed for a week with three children aged 10, 13 &15 and a dog and we all had a wonderful time. The house has been renovated with enormous care and attention to detail. The house is very stylish and extremely comfortable, down to the lovely sheets on the beds. There is a very well stocked games closet should the weather stop you from going outside but if the sun is shining, the place to be is down by the river (just a couple of minutes away). It is so beautiful and the perfect place for a tranquil afternoon. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with everything you could possibly need. It is also gorgeous. I felt sad to return to my sad old kitchen at the end of the vacation!!! The screened porch is ideal for evenings and the fire pit meant we could enjoy s'mores while star gazing. Truly the perfect house!"

  • Great Time at Gina's House

"We had fantastic time in Vermont Skiing. Gina's house although over 100 years old, still has great character and charm. Its a little quirky, but if you treat this classic house nice, it is a rewarding stay. The singing deer in the bar area had the kids entertained but after a couple of days...had the adults hiding the batteries..(they are in the drawer in the living room)! Gina was absolutely great to work with, had great communication throughout our stay and even let us checkout a little later so we could get some runs in before driving home.. The Wheel of Fortune game was a nightly event...Thanks Gina for the use of your home.. The Baldridge's"

  • Classic Vermont

"We had a great time. The photos are accurate. The fireplace is the beautiful focus of what you want to see in a log cabin in Vermont. The wood walls in the bedrooms were very nice as well. The beds were made when we got there, so we didn't have to bring our own. We didn't have the best weather... 90*+ hot, and rainy/lighting at night. The house was supplied with a fan, and when the TV wasn't available, we found thoughtful movies provided. The BBQ is in the screened porch which was great because of the rain, but dirty, so after cleaning it, it seemed ok...but... before our ribs were done, ran out of gas. We transferred the ribs to the oven, whose door didn't close well. The house could have been a bit cleaner, and supplied with more towels, cleaner/better pans. However... Not a big problem, we just dealt with it...I have rented other homes, and mention these negatives only because if corrected...the house would be absolutely great. My adult sons, wife and I went to Bromley and had a blast with zipline adventure fun, laughs and memories that will be told for a long time. I so appreciated the fact that Buddy, my four pawed granddog, was able to be with us! Again, we had a great time!"
