  • Home away from Home

"We (Me, husband, 14 month old son, sister-in-law and a friend) went here for a relaxing weekend. Although the weather was not so forgiving, with mostly rain and cold temperature, we very much enjoyed our stay here. Too bad we weren't able to use the lounge chair and the row boat nor the grill, but this place is breath taking with the lake just a step away from the cottage. What's even more breath taking is the sunset that you can actually watch from the inside porch. The cottage itself is well equipped and very nice and clean. We will consider renting this place again next time and will recommend it to family and friends."

  • Great condo!!!

"We had an excellent time staying at this condo. The location is perfect. You are steps from the slopes and you can walk to restaurants in the village. Ski locker downstairs is a nice feature. The unit was in great condition and the owner was super helpful and organized, a pleasure to deal with."

  • Great house with plenty of room

"My group and I (all young families) stayed at this property over the long Labor Day weekend. We had a blast and amazing weather! The owners were amazing in answering all my questions and were very accommodating to all of our requests. The welcome letter they send is full of tips and places to check out during your stay. They did all my activity planning for me! We had one minor problem during the stay and it was taken care of within the hour. I think it would have been even faster if he didn't have to run to the store :) The kitchen is amazing and I think we all now have stove envy. The six burners, cook top and pizza oven were all utilized since we cooked breakfast and dinner every day at the house. There is also every type of pot, pan and cooking utensil you could ever need. When we arrived everything was clean. The furnishings are all top notch and so comfortable! Its a very pleasant place to sit, relax and just hang out. The hot tub and sauna were just an added bonus. There is also a fire pit outside that we took advantage of. The yard is great and big enough for outdoor games. The location is amazing! We were close to everything and there was so much to do. I imagine that there is even more during ski season :) We had slight issues with two things. The first is that there are ten bedrooms but one of the twin rooms is more life a hallway. You have to walk through it to get to two of the queen rooms and one of the bathrooms is also in this odd area so you have to walk through the twin room to use the bathroom. I think it should be more of a sitting room then a bedroom. We were afraid to put kids in it just in case the people staying in the adjoining rooms woke them up on either a bathroom trip or just going to their bedrooms. The kids ended up just sleeping with us instead. The other, is that the water has a slight odor to it. This just might be a Killington, VT issue as oppose to anything the homeowners could have done. Neither of these issues impacted our vacation! Thank you again Yvonne and we will definitely be in touch for next year! Kate"

  • A perfect space in a perfect place!

"My wife, our two teen sons and I stayed here for a 6 day/5 night ski vacation and would return without question. We found the apartment cozy, clean and very well maintained. Plenty of space for hanging out together or doing our individual things. Easy drive to both Sugarbush bases and Mad River Glen. Many restaurant choices within 10 to 15 minutes, plus two grocery stores right up the road (10 minutes) in Waitsfield. Owners friendly and quick to respond to our questions before and during our stay. Note to renters: It's a short but steep uphill drive off Route 100 to the property, but the road and driveway appear to be plowed and sanded promptly and as needed."
