  • Great ski house

"Second year in a row we stayed at this house. Very comfortable. Very clean. Plenty of room for 4 adults and 2 kids. Loved the gas fireplace, hot tub, large dining table. Plenty of room to spread out. 10 minutes to okemo. Highly recommend staying here. I am sure we will be back soon."

  • Perfect for our Family!

"This was a wonderful place to stay. The owners are very responsive and wonderful to work with. The house is well stocked with kitchen supplies, movies, games, and firewood. We were only 4 miles from Stratton Lodge (about 8 minute drive) and right in the heart of the little town of Whinhall. There are 3 bedrooms that sleep 7 on the first floor, along with 2 full bathrooms. The living room, dining and kitchen are on second floor and a spacious loft with bed and futon overlook living area. I would strongly recommend staying here with your family."

  • A wonderful place

"I can't imagine a more pleasant place to stay. We spent almost three weeks in this lovely area. The house can accommodate six people quite comfortably. It was well equipped with everything we needed. The surroundings were lovely and the community was welcoming. I would return here with no hesitation. I was worried a bit about having no television since I'm a news junkie but quickly realized I could get most everything I wanted from the internet. Speaking of the internet, there is a strong signal and we didn't have a single interruption the entire time we were there. And, a copy of The New York Times was easy obtained every day. Our cell phones worked perfectly since we had AT&T service. It seems to cover the area significantly better than some of the other services. The house is not air conditioned but was quite comfortable with a couple of fans during the heat of the day. While we were there the weather was unusually warm (upper 80's) but it was never a problem in the house. At night the temps dropped enough that we used a light blanket. The few questions we did have were answered promptly by the caretaker. The general store, with at least one of everything it seemed, was a 60 second walk away but since the property was surrounded by lots of trees and foliage we never heard any noise. In fact the creek was close enough that we were able to hear the water. This is a great place to get away and we highly recommend it. You could not ask for more pleasant owners."

  • Wonderful home, wonderful trip!

"We spent a week at this property recently and couldn't have been happier! The house itself was well-appointed and had everything we could possibly need. The homeowner was accessible and accommodating...a pleasure to deal with. My son's favorite feature was the foosball table and my daughter liked the loft, but the home had something for everyone. Perfect kitchen, updated appliances and lots of space! Ludlow itself was a great central location for sightseeing all around the state of Vermont. Would definitely stay here again!"
