  • Amazing House Rental - Luxury, location, view and great booking process/communication

"First let me say that my friends and I ages 46-50 have been renting Vermont houses for 24 years for our annual guys poker weekend. This house is definitely in the top 3. We went from November 18-21, 2016. From the beginning, the owner, Susan Walker, provided frequent and timely communications and worked with us on the finer points of the costs with the agreement and payment handled easily. The cost of the house was reasonable compared to other area rentals. She recommended places to go, things to do and restaurants to eat at in the area. Being Killington, prices at the market and restaurants tend to be higher for us tourists as compared to other parts of the state. We ended up buying groceries in Rutland about 20 minutes away and the price was right. The house is new and well decorated with nice amenities. The openness of the kitchen, dining area and living room was perfect for our group. Updated appliances and the fireplace were all nice. The deck provided great views of Killington Mountain as well as sitting at the dining table. The hot tub was big and especially enjoyed by us as the snow fell. There is a huge mudroom which is very convenient for those into the snow sports. The bedrooms were nice with a nice mix of rooms with big beds (3 including 2Q+1K) and 2 with 2 sets of bunk beds each. We chose to bring our own sheets and towels but there is an option for that. Bathrooms were all nicely done too. The Nest thermostat system is a nice feature. With a couple large flatscreen TVs with bluray and a foosball table, plenty of indoor entertainment. Look for the Lindsey Vonn signed picture. The location is very close to all the Killington action but far enough for a sense of seclusion. We went to the Wobbly Barn which was pricey. The local market is also pricey with two liter bottles of soda costing $3.00 for example. There is open yard space where our group played whiffleball and threw the football around. Susan Walker communicated frequently by text message making sure we had a pleasant stay and followed up afterwords for feedback. I did provide some minor suggestions. It is clear the owners care about their home and their guests always looking to create a memorable Killington vacation. My group and I would have no issues returning to CEDARWALK again to enjoy this house and would look forward to any improvements made. Thank you for an awesome weekend! Allan Jagos (from Connecticut)"

  • Great Ski House!

"I stayed at Tuck it Inn with a group of friends this past weekend and it was wonderful! We are already planning our trip next year. It is in a great location to restaurants as well as the mountain. The common areas were spacious and easily fit our group! The game room and hot tub are definitely an added bonus. I highly recommend it!"
