  • Beautiful Property and Great Location

"This property is one of my personal favorites I have rented so far. The property looks a little rough on the outside when you first arrive, but all of the charm is contained within. The whole house is very open, with plenty of room for a full family or two. The rustic feel might not be for everyone, but our group loved the sliding doors and exposed columns. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed and the ping pong table was used a great deal. Day trips to both Killington and Okemo were quick and easy. Will definitely recommend to friends in the future."

  • Lovely Country Home

"I actually stayed here last Spring, but embarrassingly forgot to write a review in a timely manner! The house itself felt huge (we live in an urban-suburban area condo), so us two humans and two 40-lb. dogs were very comfortable. The house and property were very private, quiet, and relaxing, which is what we desired for our vacation. The master bedroom was spacious with a very comfortable bed and bedding. It was great to feel like we were out in the country, but still have access wifi and Netflix! We really enjoyed taking walks on the road the house is off of. We saw several horses, a donkey, and got waves from friendly neighbors on our daily walks. It was also great to have the BBQ outside. The owner was very responsive and left a lot of great information with directions for hiking and various things to do in the area. The property is not far from Green Mountain College, where there is a little town with some small shops. The only downside of our stay was that there were carpenter ants in the kitchen, but I suppose that's to be expected in the countryside during the warmer months. All in all, we had a lovely time during our stay."

  • PEACE!

"We had a wonderful week at this home. Nancy and her husband were attentive to our needs and clearly put a great deal of thought into how to make their guests stay comfortable and fun. The home is well furnished with several recliners and the kitchen has everything you could possibly need. The views are beautiful inside and out. We actually saw a bald eagle, a hundred geese, ducks, chipmunks, herons and a very cute cat. The canoe and kayaks are a great way to get on the water and as it is the quieter end of the lake we weren't bothered by motorboat traffic. The stargazing was spectacular and enjoyed by all. We are all missing that beautiful breeze and lovely view. We would love to come back again! Thanks again. Pam, Justine and Becca"
