  • Beautiful location + cabin

"The place was quaint, quiet and perfectly suited for a romantic retreat! We loved the artsy details and decorations and instantly felt right at home. The place was clean and well-kempt. The cabin is lakeside - the views are INCREDIBLE! I definitely recommend this place and I will be returning. Thanks Laurel!"

  • Magical family retreat

"This is very overdue . I had the please to stay here two times with my family . I like to go right at the end of summer when everybody leaves. I can enjoy the nice weather and peace and quiet on the lake . I work in sales and in a very stressful environment . There's nothing better than coming to this cabin to detach from the rat race of life . The house is beautiful ,the scenery is beautiful and most important it's quiet . I went there with my wife an two kids , my 4yr old son an 18 month yr old daughter . There was more than enough for them to do to keep them occupied . This place is magical to me . If I had extre money I'd buy the place myself ."

  • A perfect getaway

"My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at Laurel's. The cabin is small but feels spacious, and has everything you need for a relaxing time away. We read some of the eclectic and expansive book collection and decided we need to come back to finish our reading! The view of Lake Champlain and the Adirondack Mountains is breathtaking and it's amazing how close the lake is for a nice stroll. It is completely secluded and private, but also close to delicious food (Try the poutine at the Halfway House Restaurant!!), great hiking spots, and not far from Burlington or Rutland. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Laurel! You're wonderful!"

  • Sweet Escape

"This was a return visit to Lake Champlain at this awesome lakefront home. This has been a dual family vacation spot for years. This year the adults had a vacation of their own. September was a great month to enjoy the lake, yes even swam a few days. Perfect weather for being out and about the area enjoying the many restaurants and breweries that Vermont has to offer. Conveniently located about one hour south of Burlington, easy access to many great points of interest. The house has everything needed to make it your own for the week, just bring your groceries. Jeff and Meera are great to work with and very responsive. We will certainly return soon."
