  • Awesome Setting and Great Home

"If you love being on the water this is the place for you. Once I got to this house I wanted to stay forever. The lake views, the sunsets, the water activities, and the views of the Adirondack mountains to the West all contributed to a wonderful week for me and my family of 5. (3 adult "kids") The house is well equipped and worked well for a number of reasons: Bedrooms are on 3 different levels so there is some privacy and it isn't necessary for everyone to go to sleep at the same time. While this home is nicely decorated, it isn't packed with personal stuff of the owners, so that when we brought in our books and games it didn't feel over-crowded. The main floor has a few areas to hang out room with lots of seating and large TV; dining area, and a smaller area with a loveseat closest to the lake. The kitchen was well equipped for the dinners that we prepared. Kelly, the owner, was pleasant to work with and the house was cleaned professionally before we arrived. If you enjoy riding bikes this home is just off one of the top bike paths in the country, the Lake Champlain Byway. It's a short ride to the four mile stretch that extends out into the middle of Lake Champlain. Stunning! Take the Island Line Bike Ferry and visit the winery on South Hero :) We also enjoyed: hiking, kayaking, dining in Burlington, and visiting Stowe, Shelburne Farms, and The University of Vermont. I could have easily stayed for two weeks, and I would love to go back soon!"

  • Absolutely Great Place for a Family Vacation!

"We had an exceptional week-long stay at this beautiful beach house on Lake Champlain. The views from the house were terrific. We saw some beautiful sunsets! The house was well-appointed and tastefully decorated. The extra "perks" -- bicycles, kayak, paddleboards -- were used and much appreciated. The house did not disappoint in any way; in fact, it exceeded our expectations. It provided the perfect setting for a memorable family vacation . . . and we hope to return!"

  • Great Weekend Away!

"The carriage house was perfect – a lot of thought and effort into design, layout, functionality. For a couple getting away from NYC for a weekend, it was incredible to have, “nice things,” in a very comfortable space. The spot is a quick drive from stores, places to eat, and downtown(s); so great location. Quiet, peaceful, extremely comfortable weekend; would love to go back!"

  • Amazing view and wonderful home

"We stayed here for 4 nights in October for a family getaway. This house was a quick 10 minute drive into Burlington. We absolutely loved the views of the lake. The sunsets every night were so memorable! My dad went kayaking with the 2 kayaks that came with the house and loved it. It was so relaxing cooking dinner every night in the kitchen and watching the lake from the couch. The WiFi worked extremely well. The house had everything we needed to cook dinners and the rooms were very comfy too. We can't wait to stay here again for our next visit to Vermont."
