  • Wonderful spot on Lake Champlain!

"What a lovely area of Vermont and particularly of the Lake in which to stay. We were lucky to have great weather for our entire visit during the fall season. The Lake is gorgeous and we had great views from the large window of the cottage. Our hosts were extremely nice and helpful, they live on the property but do not impose on your privacy. Since we were not there for the summer season of boating and swimming we can't remark on that, but we found lots of fun things to do only short distances away. We are very impressed with how Vermonters take care of their state!"

  • Wonderful property and location

"Just a terrific location right on the lake and a beautiful and well maintained property that we could not ask anything more of. We will definitely rent again if available next year. The views are beautiful and it is a very quiet setting. The house is well set-up, organized and clean. Best property I have rented in the Lake Champlain Islands."

  • Family vacation

"We stayed at this cabin for a week in August. Everything is accurately represented in pics and description. The cabin has been tastefully renovated and everything functioned well. No cable or wifi, but we knew that and brought our own library of DVD's. If you are into birds, this is one of the best places I've been to in years! Saw a number of new species, including a Scarlet Tanager at Pt. Au Roche (sp?) state park. Loons, Kingfishers and Ospreys every day. Eagles a time or 2. Fishing is great, but not from the immediate shoreline. The included rowboat got us out a couple hundred yards to a rocky point where we caught smallmouth, rock bass and yellow perch. Ausable Chasm is a must see. Pt. Au Roche Park has some great trails and seemingly miles of awesome shoreline to explore with no crowds. Hungry Bear in Plattsburgh for breakfast and Clare and Carl's for the requisite Michigan Red hots.... Thank you Bernie for a great week!"
