"I'm a huge fan of reading reviews for a vacation stay or purchasing an item and I believe honesty is very important...so here goes. I was looking for a place close to the Vermont Summer Festival because my daughter was showing and having to be there very early in the morning to work we didn't want a long drive. This place was great. When we arrived my daughter went through the whole house and yelled to me "great job finding this place Mom, it's awesome!!" It was exactly 2 minutes to the show and on a beautiful quiet street. The house was clean, neat, well equiped with all the necessities and very roomy. The kitchen, dining room, living room and full bathroom were on the first floor and 2 bedrooms with another full bath were upstairs. The master bedroom was huge. It had a futon couch that you could use for sleeping and plenty of room to put an air mattress if needed. The other bedroom was small but plenty big enough for my two girls (ages 15 & 18). The beds were comfy as well as the furniture in the living room. There were air conditioners in the two bedrooms and the living room but the downstairs was so cool that we hardly used it. The air in the second bedroom didn't work that great but it was good enough. We ate outside on the patio a few times and it was peaceful and restful. My daughter loved the jacuzzi tub in the upstairs bath and after a long day of showing was able to relax in the tub. That was a huge plus for her. The ceilings in the upstairs bath were a little low but only in the walk way in. Once you got in the bath area they were fine. Jen was great. Communicated with me in a timely fashion prior to booking, checked in with me when we arrived to make sure all was okay and emailed me to let me know the lawn was going to be mowed one day. She was available if there were any problems, but we didn't have any. Friends of mine stayed in a place closer to Manchester (we were only about 10-12 minutes to town), paid a lot more and her place was a dump. She asked for the information on my place so maybe she could rent it next year. If we return to the VSF next year, I will certainly be staying here. Thanks Jen for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had a great time!!"

"This is a great clean comfortable house! Plenty of room, well-supplied kitchen and so close to Stratton we had our own little shuttle going back and forth with our small kids taking ski lessons and coming home to warm up and then heading back. We had a magical time. Jim is great and responsive and we couldn't have been more pleased."

"It was very easy to correspond with Mike and the check-in/check-out at the condo complex's main office was very straightforward. The place is as pictured; it's clean, the beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels and hot water. The gas fireplace was very nice and threw a lot of heat on a frigid, frigid weekend. It is close to the mountain and an easy ride to town as well.
Just a few things to know - the bedrooms and bathrooms are quite small if that matters to you at all. Also, if cooking, note that you won't find much beyond salt and pepper and coffee setup. Plan to bring things like Pam (for the pans, which were not non-stick), veg oil, plastic wrap/baggies, foil, etc. [Some condos we've rented have that, others don't so just thought I'd mention it; not a criticism.] Finally, there is a WiFi setup for each building; ours wasn't working so I don't know if that was an anomaly or not -- office staff wasn't able to deal with it that weekend.
Thanks, Mike, for the use of the place!"

"This was the perfect find for our week at Jay. Great ski in ski out location with easy lift access to both Tram and Stateside base. If you're trying to get around the resort without skis the Jay shuttle bus shows up on demand to bring you wherever you need. This condo has a great kitchen for those who cook, and a super spacious living area for our group (2 couples). Super friendly and helpful owner. I highly recommend!"
