  • Beautiful Views From Spacious Mountain Retreat

"Well appointed cabin with plenty of room for everyone. Nicely decorated so if felt like a home away from home. Great books about the area in the cabin, as well as puzzles and games. We loved waking up every morning to the different views of the valley. Some mornings shrouded in fog, others crystal clear. We saw deer through binoculars near the lake, and a doe and fawn right on the property. Also, some of the largest wild turkeys we had ever seen. Raptors and Hummingbirds were among the many species of birds we saw on the property. We hiked many trails in the White Mountain National Forest, a highlight being Mount Washington. If you like easy waterfall trails, check out Sabbaday Falls and The Basin. Best bang for your buck, free. The Flume Gorge is highly overrated and expensive. $62 for a family of four and way too crowded to enjoy nature. We barely scratched the surface of the many trails we wanted to explore. Will definitely return to this special place."

  • Honeymoon at the Lake

"My new husband and I got the opportunity to honeymoon at the Lake House. We cannot say enough good things about this rental. My favorite parts of this rental were the outdoor fireplace and the dock. Most of our time was spent outside enjoying the lake view or kayaking. Great hiking/trail running nearby. The owners of the property are very helpful and have made great efforts to make this rental a comfortable retreat. We would definitely stay there again."

  • BIG GROUP? Look no further...

"We were a group of 25 women who ventured to Kimball Inn for a Leader Retreat for our business. It was PERFECT! So much space, and it had everything we needed. The commercial kitchen was perfect for cooking our large meals. Every utensil and/or appliance is there for you to use. All the beds were comfortable (and the linens were of high quality as well). It was very easy to travel to... not very far off Interstate 91, and was just a short drive from town if you needed to pick up a few things. The views from the front of the Inn are amazing. Our favorite place to gather was of course the bar/living room. Plenty of seating for everyone. Although Charles (the Inn owner) lives on premises, we never saw or heard him unless we needed something or had a question. He's truly a gracious and kind host. We have already decided that we'll be back for our next retreat!"

  • Great house!

"We loved staying at this house. We have rented many houses over the years and this is at the top of our list! Well appointed, clean and a perfect size for our family! We loved everything about the house and the welcome basket was icing on the cake! Steve was easy to reach, kind and helpful! We hope to come back again next year! Thank you for sharing your home with us!"
