  • Great location, close to the mountain

"Condo was super close to mountain! Pros and cons to the stay... Starting with the pros... 2 adults and one child staying for 8 days. The location was great and the owners were super helpful. Condo had basic supplies and we were able to cook for the three of us with ease. Wood burning fireplace was a nice touch and we used it a few days. We chose to drive to mountain for the 5 days of skiing and it was an easy 1 minute drive to get there. There were a few things that would have made our stay more enjoyable: Most importantly was the poor bedding. It definitely could use replacing as the mattress was not comfortable for two adults.. The metal frame was creaking with every movement and the mattress itself tended to sink with the springs. Also, there was a new boardwalk light that shone directly in the bedroom making it difficult to fall and stay asleep.. Black out shades would be helpful. After a long and full day of skiing, a good night sleep was a top priority for us but we were unable to get this sleep due to these factors. The car traffic driving along the road also created lights that were shining in the bedroom window making shades again a good investment. My 11 year old son slept on the living room pullout couch which was fine but not great comfort wise. Plenty of pillows and blankets to keep everyone warm. Overall, we had a nice visit to Burke. If the bedding issue were to be fixed, it would have been a perfect ski vacation! Again, the owners were extememly helpful and answered all questions we had prior to arrival."

  • Cozy condo with great access to slopes and comfortably fit 4 adults and 4 kids.

"Keith had everything set for our stay. Plenty of towels, blankets, and the like. Had coffee, pancake mix and pure VT syrup in a little welcome basket. I felt as if Keith really wanted us to be comfortable. Great access to lower Burke Mountain slopes. The mud room was perfect for shedding all the boarding gear and the washer and dryer were clutch. We cooked breakfast and dinner for 8 the days we stayed and the minimal pan selection options made for some creative culinary times. It's a mountain side condo and we definitely did not expect a master chefs kitchen, but just want to give families who will be cooking meals a heads up. That being said, I would highly recommend Keith as a host and this property to anyone looking to ski at Burke Mountain. I know we will look to do it again in the future."

  • Exactly what we were looking for!

"As mountain bikers this place is perfectly located, so we could started directly on our bikes in the morning. The view over de mountains was stunning! The house was clean, they was plenty of space for everyone (even at the dinner table!). During the night, we missed gas from the BBQ. We called the owner, left a message and I call us back within 5 mintues to tell us, where (in the house) we could find more. This promplty response was super apprecited. We are looking forward to go back."

  • Our Utopian Vacation

"We almost hate to disclose our love for this getaway, because it has become the perfect vacation place for us! This past September-October was our third year vacationing at this lovely home. Three years ago, when we found it, we were sorry we did not know about it many years ago, as we have been vacationing in Vermont for nearly 20 years. First of all, Betty is spectacular as a person and manager of this lovely home. She is on top of any correspondence you might have with her. The house is beautifully kept, cleaned, and supplied with anything you would need. It is an extremely comfortable house in which to live and sleep. She grows and maintains beautiful gardens of flowers and vegetables, all of which she shares with her guests. The setting is extremely private and serene. The view of New Hampshire’s Presidential Range from the deck is absolutely lovely and soothing. If your vacation is one of a complete getaway from the rat races of everyday living, this is the place to go!"
