  • one of eight

"This is an amazingly comfortable house, it is clean and well maintained. It is stocked with dishes, linens and such to make the stay easy. It has lots of space so our group of eight women were able to enjoy the common areas and still find private space. The house is easy to get to and not far from many fun activities. Can't wait to go back again!"

  • Equinox through the Woods

"Had an absolutely splendid time at this cozy cabin in Manchester. My wife and I particularly enjoyed taking advantages of many Equinox attractions while not paying an Equinox rate - never mind how much more spacious it was than staying in a hotel! We particularly enjoyed the easy access to all of the hiking trails on Mt Equinox. The pond just up the road set against a gorgeous mountain backdrop was enough in itself to make the trip a success. Additionally, we found a great path just down the road through the woods that took us directly to the Equinox outdoor lounge. We enjoyed a copious amount of cocktails throughout the day and evening as we watched the sun set behind the mountain and the outdoor gas fire pit heat up the night. It was so nice being able to casually walk home without worrying about a tax or Ubers - which can be hard to come by in VT. Furthermore, there were a number of other quality restaurants we could walk to, such as the Copper Grouse at the Taconic Hotel and Mulligan's - what seemed to be a semi-local favorite pub. We ended one evening sitting on Adirondack chairs on the lawn, beverage and cigar (for myself) in hand, while the fire pit was blazing as we watch the stars light up the sky over the eastern mountain range. The cottage is adorable, spotless, and the owner, Bob, could not have been more helpful whenever we had a question/concern. Our escape from Manhattan was much needed, and once we arrived we did not get in the car again until our departure. The value here makes too much sense not to take advantage of it year after year. Definitely hoping to return again!"

  • We love staying in this cottage

"We have stayed in this well-furnished cottage 4 times over the past 3 years. Things we like: 1. The kitchen has everything we need to prepare our meals. 2. It is close to grocery stores and shopping but away from the business of downtown Manchester. We can get to the ski resorts without going through town. 3. It is on a paved, well-maintained road and the driveway is very good. The cottage sits back from the road and is very quiet. 4. New water treatment system makes the water silky. 5. It's a treat to have the Tennis Channel. We hope to return next ski season."

  • Vermont Versailles - this house is amazing!

"This house was such a treat to stay in. We dubbed it the Vermont Versailles, it was so luxurious. It's in a great location; lovely natural setting with big yard in front and back and a little lake in front, but within walking distance to town/shops. Enough room for a large group to spread out. There are two master bedrooms (both awesome, one on first floor, one in basement) then upstairs there are three bedrooms (one with its own bathroom) and a big hangout/TV room upstairs with sleeper sofas - perfect for kids. The beds are super comfortable. There is also a great pool table in the basement. This house is immaculately kept up and has a very well-thought out, practical design. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Also, owner is very responsive to questions and prompt. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"
