  • Great spot to unplug with friends

"Enjoyed our stay here - a great halfway point for friends in both MA and NY to come together for a weekend. The main living space is open and fantastic for entertaining - a large dining table overlooks the massive fireplace, living room, pool table and enclosed porch while the lower floor is a sleeping quarters and is sectioned off, and quiet even if others are still upstairs. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of supplies for cooking meals in and towels and sheets were folded neatly at the beginning of our stay. A small market and general store are down the street or you can venture towards the Rutland area of full grocery options. Definitely recommend! I'm sure it's even better during ski season!"

  • Suitable for all types of groups, great location

"A big thank you to Mr. Sean Feeney for allowing my group and I to stay at his house, for his immediate responses, and being upfront with us about a situation at the house he was having. He is a genuine home owner and puts his guests above his own gain. We stayed during MLK weekend in 2016. The house was in a great location. About 15 minutes from the Ski Resort, a restaurant/tavern within walking distance, and a great general store and gas station a little bit more up the road in Pittsfield where finding products was quick and easy. There was plenty of room for everyone and the view from the deck made you feel like you were away from it all to relax but close enough to it all at the same time. The driveway was plowed after a snow fall and trash was picked up by the keeper of the house in a timely fashion as well. All signs Sean and his friends make it a top priority to keep the house in the best shape possible. If this house is available, take advantage !"

  • Wonderful, clean home that can fit 10 adults comfortably

"The property was great! My group of 10 adults (3 couples and 4 singles) fit in the home comfortably. We had the bottom level of the duplex. I originally had concerns about sharing a property with up to ten other people that we didn't know, but it was never an issue and I'm sure that the tenant requirements that the owners set forth are a big reason why. The house was very warm and well insulated and the fire place provided ample heating. The bunk beds are "adult sized" and even the biggest of my group (6'4", 230lbs) fit in the bunk comfortably. We even had a couple sleep in one of the bunks when the resident snorer was kicked out of the bunk room to the sofa bed. One point of caution with the property, and it is mentioned in the listing, is that it is located up a fairly long hill, parts of which can be a little steep. I would recommend all wheel drive if staying here, or at least good tires. Overall, an excellent place with everything you would need to enjoy your stay. To top it off, Lori was very responsive and provided timely and useful feedback throughout."

  • Perfect Getaway House in the Hills

"Stayed for 4 nights with a group of coworkers for a little fun on the slopes. Although this winter had much to be desired, the house exceeded our expectations. Immaculately clean, much bigger than the photos make it seem and to top it off – check-in / check-out were very easy. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away with their family or a group of 10 looking to do some skiing, hiking, or golfing. The surrounding town(s) were lovely, and the staff at Killington made everything that much better. Looking forward to hopefully booking this place again next winter."
