  • Quiet, beautiful place on Lake Dunmore.

"We had a wonderful time during our stay in May and highly recommend this lovely home on Lake Dunmore, VT."

  • Excellent location

"My wife and I along with my elderly parents rented cabin for the week. Wonderful location and cabin very well maintained. My only comment would be if you are traveling with anyone with physical limitations be sure to discuss that with Lisa. The walk from parking area to cabin anne challenging for folks with limitations. With that said this cabin is five star in our book."

  • "home sweet home"

"They say " one can't come back home"...but sure can come pretty darn close. I was raised about 25 miles south of Chittenden, Vermont. The moment we pulled up the hill and saw the stone wall, I was intrigued. . Then the homestead immediately reminded me of Calvin Coolidge home in Plymouth. The open fields, the apple orchard, in ground formed pool, tennis court and even the setting of the old carriage barns were beautifully inviting . Inside the home was what really brought me home, right from the pantry, the porcelain door handles, the low baring windows [upstairs] to the wrap around porch. The wood floor boards with the protected braided rugs brought me back to my childhood, running barefoot all summer long. Even the business of all the varied wallpaper gave me the sense of visiting my great aunts and cousins. The structure of the windows, the old staircase railing and the elongated floor plan was almost a spitting image of my home when I was a child. Besides the nostalgic reasons of this beautiful home, the amenities were outstanding with its full-functioning and modern kitchen, the t.v. room [the den] stocked with family games , very roomy bedrooms, and living room with the rustic theme décor throughout. The host, Sue, was most informative with all the access to this wonderful stay , including the safety features. Sue treated us as if we were family visiting for a reunion, very warm and receptive to our questions and gratitude. I , needless to say, our family truly enjoyed our stay. When in the area again we will certainly be looking Susan up for a repeat. Lovely homestead and convenient to the mountains of Killington (about 15 minutes) as well as down to Rutland (only a 6 minute drive)."

  • Very nice and quiet.

"I assume I found the correct access to the lake? Around the corner and down the narrow lane to a dock? House was cozy and perfect for our family."
