  • Perfect rural Vermont experience for the Summer!

"Our family spent 8 days/7 nights this July in the restored 1900 schoolhouse in Wolcott, VT. Although we have vacationed in VT numerous times over the past 15 years, we have primarily done so in the Burlington area and were looking for something a bit different. Being immersed in the rural beauty of Wolcott and slowing our pace to match the environment was exactly what we had hoped. The property itself was wonderful. The schoolhouse has a lot of character, (e.g., hardwood throughout, interior design with a local artisan-feel), with more than enough space for our family. The country kitchen, breakfast nook, and master bedroom with skylights were highlights of the interior that we specifically enjoyed. As lovely as the home itself was, the yard and mountain views were even better. Our 7 year old loved the trampoline, running around the well-maintained yard, using the tree swing, and relaxing with a book on the porch or on the Adirondack chairs in the yard. The panoramic views of the mountains are really beyond description. Since the property is situated high on a mountain road, views down in the valley with the mountains as the backdrop were gorgeous, especially in the morning and at sunset. The only potential negative for those considering this rental is its general location. It was perfect for our family as we enjoyed hanging around the local Wolcott, Hardwick, and Morrisville area, as well as taking day trips to Stowe/Waterbury, Montpelier, Burlington, and the NorthEast Kingdom, this won't be a good fit for those looking for an exciting 'nightlife' scene, etc. Finally, the property owner could not have been more helpful and welcoming to our family. She was a perfect balance of being engaged during the reservation/rental process while also allowing us to enjoy her home/property on our own. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our time at the schoolhouse, hopefully we'll be able to make this an annual tradition!"

  • Two big thumbs up

"Excellent large home. Perfect location. Quiet and clean. Pamela was easy to deal with and very helpful. Although there were only two of us, this was a great place just using one floor. Kitchen is very well stocked and everything worked as advertised. We weren't there during ski season but it is very convenient to the slopes. It is also just a short walk across the road to the Stowe walking path, taking you all the way to the village by foot or bike. All in all, a very comfortable rental."

  • Fall Vacation in Stowe

"We took a fall vaca to enjoy the colorful leafs, and we were not disappointed. We arrived after closing and the check-in cupboard was as described. The condos were just a minute off Mountain Road/VT 108, and yet, it was quiet as we felt very secluded with the trees and green space around us. There are only a few units in the Four Seasons Condos. The unit was as described. Clean, up-to-date, decorated nicely, great patio with grill, and a colorful Maple tree right outside the kitchen window. Fireplace would be great in the winter! Very convenient to everything. The Recreation Path is right next to the condo. Great condo to rent year-round! We had a great trip, and would stay there again."

  • Private home with large fenced in yard for the dog

"We stayed 4 nights over the rememberance day weekend. Three of us with our two dogs . The house was exactly as advertised with a few surprises. The fenced yard was large and worked out great for the dogs-they loved it! Netflix and YouTube on the tv was a great touch. The house was comfortable and cozy. The owners were great to deal with and responded well to any concerns. There was a great selection of games and movies. The hot tub was perfect at the end of long days of exploring and shopping in the area. We would not hesitate to stay here again or recommend this location to anyone looking to rent it."
