  • Great!

"Cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. John was very friendly and accommodating upon our check-in. The property was very inviting and had well more space than the pictures show. It had a stocked kitchen with plenty of items to prepare our meals. The fireplace is big and very nice to sit around - it was match-ready when we walked in. The views are to die for! Would stay here again without hesitation. The drive from town takes some patience as it is 5-6 miles up a dirt mountain road. Mud season can get a little tricky, but we had no issues. We highly recommend this property!"

  • Wonderful family vacation!

"We (a family of six) stayed in the house for three nights and had a wonderful time. The house is comfortable, spacious and nicely set up. It is clean, well-maintained and a genuine pleasure to occupy. Mark and Nancy are splendid, responsive and welcoming hosts. They are always quick to respond. We would heartily recommend this house and the Sugarbush area. This house is removed from the hubbub, but still allows easy access to all the area has to offer (Ben & Jerry's and Lake Champlain Chocolate come to mind!). Thanks for a great vacation!"

  • Very relaxing!

"This was our first time using HomeAway and we were pleased. The owners are very responsive and the cottage was just as shown. There were no surprises and everything was immaculate. Even the dogs were extremely well behaved when we called out to them as they were walking by! The beds were very comfortable. The owner met us as we came in, gave us good tips and directions and was available if we needed her but we felt very private the whole time. It was wonderful as we were traveling with another couple and we felt very relaxed the whole time. The property is large enough where we strolled around we could take our time and saw some wildlife. I would totally recommend this and will keep it in mind for future trips, extremely good value! We were in the area for the CheeseFest at Shelburne Farms and it was a reasonable distance from there as well as very close to Waterbury."

  • Pictures don't do it justice

"The condo and facility was everything we could have asked for. Susan was extremely responsive and helpful in terms of check-in, check-out instructions as well as providing details of the facilities and things to do in the area. The pictures don't really do it justice, we were surprised by how big the place was and how the layout really gave it a ski house/loft feel as opposed to a condo feel. The rec center with pool/hot tub/tavern/fitness center was easily walk able. The bus stop to the base lodge was just outside the front door and only a 5 min ride. We were initially wary about sending a check instead of doing things electronically but Susan communicated the whole way through and made everything work out just fine."
