  • No better place to stay in the valley!

"A million thanks to the Tuckers for accommodating our group of 8 during the Green Mountain Stage Race cycling weekend! The house is so incredibly perfect, it has everything- literally! Pool, Hot tub, game room, patio, spacious open and great in all ways! In addition to the three bedrooms, it has an entryway room with couches and chairs, a formal living room, a huge dining area open to the kitchen and a giant deck off the dining area. And the landscaped grounds were idyllic, seating around the pool and patio area as well- just so lovely and spacious! There's also the whole lower level you could rent in addition that has a second kitchen, living area and more bedrooms- truly a getaway for your family with room for everyone. The entire place felt like home. And the kitchen was wonderful and stocked with spices and tools and toaster/coffee maker/ovens, basically you'd never have to eat out! Everything was clean and good quality - it was a wonderful trip from start to finish! Can't wait to come back!"

  • Great house as advertised. Couldn't have asked for more.

"This house more than met our expectations. It was exactly as described and all previous reviews were spot on. Rob was a great host and his home was the perfect setting for my family's three night stay."

  • Idyllic Retreat

"This is the kind of place that makes you want to keep coming back. It is the perfect spot to explore the area around this part of Lake Champlain near Vergennes, with the incredible Shelburne Museum and even Burlington not far. But the best part is that after exploring, or kayaking down Otter Creek, you can come back to this wonderful setting: a well-appointed farmhouse with ample fields for kids and dogs to play, seated on a gentle sloping yard leading down to the river. Watching the mist on the water in the morning from the back porch, hearing big fish jump, and taking a turn in the swing under the apple tree are memories we all hope to repeat. The house itself is a quaint and very welcoming combination of modern convenience and antique charm. A well-furnished, modern, and open kitchen ties the house together, between the old farmhouse and the newer addition, while the upstairs had more than enough room for the five of us to sleep comfortably. Much of the welcoming feel to the house comes from its owners, who are friendly, very responsive, and accommodating, and ready to respond should a problem arise. We're lucky they decided to share this home with the rest of us!"

  • A perfect space in a perfect place!

"My wife, our two teen sons and I stayed here for a 6 day/5 night ski vacation and would return without question. We found the apartment cozy, clean and very well maintained. Plenty of space for hanging out together or doing our individual things. Easy drive to both Sugarbush bases and Mad River Glen. Many restaurant choices within 10 to 15 minutes, plus two grocery stores right up the road (10 minutes) in Waitsfield. Owners friendly and quick to respond to our questions before and during our stay. Note to renters: It's a short but steep uphill drive off Route 100 to the property, but the road and driveway appear to be plowed and sanded promptly and as needed."
