  • Great value for proximity to slopes

"Our family of five recently stayed in this nice condo for four nights during a February trip for (great!) skiing at Sugarbush. The condo had everything we wanted for an affordable price: small but adequate kitchen (well stocked with pots/pans, dishware, etc.), comfortable dining and living area, and comfortable beds. It also had a large TV with Netflix access, which was nice, and a wood burning stove that was easy to start and provided warmth and ambiance (though it also dried out the air significantly). Most importantly, the unit is quite close to the Lincoln Peak base area. My wife and kids did return to the condo once by skiing down the Village Run Trail, and it was a very short walk from the end of that trail to the condo entrance. (While the unit is legitimately "ski in," it isn't possible to ski out via the Village Run Trail. Apparently, by walking some distance to the parking lot of some nearby condos, it is possible to access another ski trail that leads to the base of the mountain. But with kids and multiple sets of skis we thought it easier just to drive to the base area.) My only complaint is that the drying functionality on the washer/dryer combo unit was very slow. I eventually gave up and dried clothes by hanging them near the wood-burning stove, which worked quite well. It is also worth mentioning that the owner is very helpful. He re-installed gates around the stove and at the top and bottom of the stairs to accommodate our travel with a 1-year-old, and also provided a porta-crib for our use. Overall, I highly recommend this unit for anyone who is looking for an affordable option that, while not luxurious or contemporary, is plenty comfortable and well-located."

  • Lovely, comfortable on-the-mountain Sugarbush condo - perfect for First Chair skiing families

"Steps away from the trail, across from Valley House Lodge/Lift, this home was perfect for our Sugarbush-loving family of five plus room for a few more. Owner (and amazing location!) made everything easy. Enjoyed watching weather and groomers out late night from sliding glass doors/large window overlooking mountain. Super comfortable beds, couches, dining and well-equipped kitchen. Warm classic ski house vibe (with a few fly-fishing prints just for Dad). Ok, we wish it was ours - we'd be there every weekend year-round!"

  • beautiful mountain view spacious house

"We were very pleased with the house very spacious. It did not feel like a rental place but a home. The kitchen is well supplied with essentials, plenty of linens and towel. The bedrooms are good size so you don't feel too close together. I really like that there is a large family room with foosball table downstairs that well occupied my girls. Another large living room upstairs where we could all sit around and hang out. The garage is spacious and clean, all was very clean. They appear to be updating somewhat in the family room downstairs with new electronics systems so the TV was not working at the time we were there but that was quite fine by me. I was there for a family wedding and relaxation. It is convenient to the little village and it was easy to find. I would definitely go back and recommend this house. Easy check in and owner supplied us with name and number of care taker but we did not need them. All was great."
