  • Perfect for quick weekend away in the Mad River Valley

"Four adults and a dog fit nicely into this lovely condo. If you are looking for a economical way to spend a weekend skiing this is a perfect spot to book."

  • beautiful mountain view spacious house

"We were very pleased with the house very spacious. It did not feel like a rental place but a home. The kitchen is well supplied with essentials, plenty of linens and towel. The bedrooms are good size so you don't feel too close together. I really like that there is a large family room with foosball table downstairs that well occupied my girls. Another large living room upstairs where we could all sit around and hang out. The garage is spacious and clean, all was very clean. They appear to be updating somewhat in the family room downstairs with new electronics systems so the TV was not working at the time we were there but that was quite fine by me. I was there for a family wedding and relaxation. It is convenient to the little village and it was easy to find. I would definitely go back and recommend this house. Easy check in and owner supplied us with name and number of care taker but we did not need them. All was great."

  • Good location; way better than a hotel!

"Cute house - WAY better than a hotel. We spent a week here, visiting my brother and snowboarding. The house was a good location for us - half-way between my brother's house and the ski resort. It is also not far from Burlington. It is on a somewhat busy street, so if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is not the place. But there is a nice back porch and yard (which we didn't use given that it was December). The house was perfect for our family of 5."

  • Great for groups and couples

"This place was perfect for our family of three couples. Each couple had their own bedroom. My husband and I had the basement bedroom - it felt very private because we had our own bathroom. There is a loft bedroom but we didn't use it. If you are considering using the bedroom, you have to climb up a steep ladder so just make sure whomever is using it is able bodied. :) The house is very cozy and it's in a very quiet high end neighborhood. It's close enough to Waterbury to be able to go to a local grocery story not even 5 minutes away if you forget anything. You could walk if you wanted to to Ben and Jerry's. Skiing at Stowe was about 20 minutes away. We enjoyed the living areas, especially the big dining room table for family dinners. We used the the hot tub and the hi tech entertainment system downstairs. The internet was great! The house was on the warm side for us so we were never cold. The folks at HGTV would say that the decor in the house is slightly "dated" but it didn't bother us. Our only word of caution is that the drive way can be quite icy in the winter. We rented a van and it did NOT have 4 wheel drive so we had some problems getting out. Fortunately for us we brought two cars. So make sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get in and out in the winter. Bruce (the owner) is great to work with and we really felt like we were guests in his home rather than a cold sanitized hotel room, complete with his hand written notes. Thanks for a great vacation!"
