"An idyllic setting you expect in Vermont, and in this instance you get it. A generous offering of varied activities to please all ages was expected, but exceeded expectations. The rental itself was spacious, spotless, and scenic, and a welcome retreat from the hectic urban lifestyle. What made that transition even better was the graciousness of the hosts who insured your privacy was protected and yet were available to assist you in anyway, and at anytime. They were so helpful in insuring you made the Vermont experience one of a lasting memory. I would strongly recommend you consider this rental, to insure your limited vacation time would be one of lasting memories."

  • Winter trip to remember

"My family and I stayed here for Christmas and new years for our first ski trip in over 15 years. The house is so cozy and fun! Air hockey and roulette downstairs in the basement with the gas fireplace and the most comfortable couch in the world. It was the best place to hang out. Overall the location is great and such a short drive to okemo or jackson gore. Everything about the place was better than we expected. ."

  • Labor Day weekend hiking & relaxing!

"My family (husband, 2 yr old, and our dog) and our friends (who also have a 2 yr old) shared this home last weekend. We found the home to be comfortable and well-equipped; there was lots of room to spread out in the kitchen/dining/living room area plus the screened-in porch. Our first night there, we cooked a great dinner on the gas grill. The kids & our dog enjoyed exploring the spacious yard, and it was only a 5 minute walk to town to the glass shop and grocery store. The adjacent town road, located a few minutes' walk behind the home, was an attraction in itself for us (our boys loved walking amongst the tractors & construction equipment parked back there!) The home's close proximity to Jamaica State Park (5 minutes away) allowed us to go hiking on some beautiful trails and still get home in time for our little ones to take naps in the afternoon. The last night, on our way to the craft beer store & Honeypie, we stopped along Rt.30 to watch a moose grazing on the side of the road. Our stay was fun and relaxing. Valery was very responsive and quickly addressed our needs - we appreciated that very much!"

  • Great place to stay

"This little place on Curtis Pond was perfect for our week of hiking. Waking up to the beauty of Curtis Pond and returning for the sunsets was great. Quiet the whole time, convenient to Montpeilar, and very private. Wi-Fi worked great, but you really don't want to spend much time connected. A nice family aura."
