  • Truly Ideal

"This cottage is heaven on earth! We have been vacationing in the Greensboro area for over ten years, and this property is now our favorite. We wanted to stay forever! The quiet, secluded but accessible location offers a perfect retreat with an inspiring view of Caspian Lake and the surrounding verdant mountains. The home itself is so welcoming, beautiful and comfortable! It is even nicer than the photos online seem. And there certainly is everything you need to make yourself at home and to enjoy fun on the lake and in the surrounding outdoors. Even during the one rainy day we had, there was plenty to do just by staying indoors here. We give our highest recommendation, and are already looking forward to our return."

  • Beautiful, newly renovated home in a great location.

"We had a wonderful time staying at Christopher's place. He was extremely hospitable and sent us recommendations for places to eat and find good coffee in the town. Okemo was just a 25-30 min drive away, which was perfect for our 1.5 ski days. Our group of 10 fit well in the space with day beds and extra side house. Would definitely recommend to others!"

  • Fantastic home within striking distance to great mountains and breweries

"Jeff has a gem here. Apart from being a gracious and accommodating host, he has plenty of space for 6-8 people, maybe a couple more if people aren't averse to getting a bit cozy. The house was well-maintained, with some recently updated rooms, and was a very inviting and warm home base for our trip to Stowe Mountain (about 20-30 min away). It's a great option if you want a bit of peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of things. In town, you have two awesome breweries, Rock Art and Lost Nation, the latter of which serves up some AMAZING food. All in all, our group was very happy with our stay, and would definitely recommend it!"

  • Lovely and peaceful

"This property is certainly secluded down one lane dirt and gravel roads. The cottage overlooking a pond has a small sand/rocky beach. The pond is lovely for swimming in the summer but you might want to bring water shoes. The cottage has a living room, kitchen/dining room, bathroom with a shower and a bedroom downstairs. Upstairs is a bedroom and sleeping loft. The owner leaves a canoe available for use, use the life jackets supplied in the broom closet. The kitchen is equiped with a gas range, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee making. The hall contains a washer and dryer. Water is provided from an artisan well. The beds are comfortable. The road to this place is interesting because it follows the contours of the land and has small hill, some fairly steep, and many curves. However it is flat and can be traveled on in most vehicles. However we did not travel on it after dark. Wifi is limited to a few half hour periods during the day and the owners request it only be used for e-mails. This is because data cost money because of the limited internet options by the cabin. Some cell phone providers like t-mobile do not have service on the property but Verizon does. A wonderful place to get away from it all."
