  • Quaint lakefront home, extremely quiet serene evenings with breathtaking sunsets.

"This was our first vacation in a long time and we were looking for fun things to do, without the long lines and crowds and spending a fortune on overpriced attactions. Mary Kim's home seemed like the perfect solution for my nineteen year old daughter, my husband and myself. We love nature, swimming, boating, and fishing. My daughter enjoyed kayaking for the first time, and I went fishing on the lake. We drove into Plattsburgh twice for a little shopping and then dinner, but the rest of the time, we just grilled on the barbecue and had relaxing evenings together as a family. The WiFi was great for using the laptop and tablets, and the house uses Dish TV. The sunsets were amazing to say the least. This is a perfect home if you are enjoy simplicity and are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life for awhile. Thanks again to the Lavery's for a great time in their home."

  • Wonderful visit

"This is a lovely, cozy home in a convenient location. The house is well-equipped with a large fireplace that was a delight on cold evenings. There is good water pressure in the showers and the beds were very comfortable. The master bedroom is huge. The neighbors are far enough away that we weren't even aware of them. The town is an easy 10 minutes drive. Burlington (45 mins) and Woodstock/Quechee (70 mins) were easy to get to. When there was a minor problem the caretaker had it fixed within the hour. Sarah was so helpful, with suggestions for activities, restaurants, etc. When we had to cut our stay short (due to a hurricane at home) she offered to let us stay until her next booking!"

  • Perfect getaway

"The camp was exactly what we were looking for. We had a group of 12 and the house had more than enough room. The waterfront was truly unique and unforgettable. We had a fire every night (right on the waterfront!) while the waves splashed off the rocks. The camp is definitely secluded but not in the middle of nowhere. We caught some live music at the winery less than a mile from the camp and Burlington is less than a 30 minute drive. The house if nicely furnished but it’s a vacation home, if you’re looking for 4-star amenities then you probably want to check something else out. The home was clean and full of character. Also, our lab was welcome at the camp! Absolutely perfect... We will be back for sure!! Thanks!"
