  • Wonderful House, right on the VCT!

"We have stayed in this house multiple years and have thoroughly enjoyed each time! Mike and Abby have been SO helpful with any questions or needs we have. I recommend this home every time we talk to others about visiting the area, we wouldn't want to stay elsewhere. The house is warm, clean and complete with all you need for a visit (my friend uses the griddle every time we come :) The convenience to the VCT and other areas we like to fish is great. This past year we went to a few festivals and areas to visit that Abby & Mike recommended and it was so much fun! Thanks for opening your home to us! Barbara & Jeff"

  • Awesome Home

"A beautiful home on a quiet rural road by an awesome cold water mountain creek. We stayed here overnight while traveling further south. Allen, the owner, was very accommodating and went out of his way to make this feel like home. The house was immaculate and comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with lots of staples and all the fixings needed for good coffee. We will definitely stay here again in the future."

  • Nice Getaway

"This cabin is adorable and has everything you need! It is so convenient to Mt. Airy and Hillsville for the Flea Market. But on highway 52 there are little shops all along the way and you don't need to wait for the flea market to come around! The beds were super comfortable and the cabin is decorated nicely. Carolyn was in touch right away and so accommodating! Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Only downside was I didn't get cell phone service, but she did have a land line we could use. The internet wasn't very strong so if you need to use internet it probably wouldn't be a good choice."

  • Wonderful cabin on New River

"Was looking for a place between Grayson Highland State Park and McAfee Knob on the Applachian Trail and could not of found a better place. Cabin had everything you could want and very clean. Was perfect place to land after a day of hiking. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Beautiful part of Virginia."
