"I couldn't help but share after reading reviews. Our date is incorrect but I had to put one to do review. We stayed here 3 different times and loved it. The only reason we went to other cabins is our family got too big for this cabin. Yes there is no AC but we knew that going in. The steps are steep but we did not rent a $5000.00 dollar a week cabin. All the "people" were nice and we got to know quite well. We enjoyed them. We loved it and thinking of renting this summer for a month. Jeanette"

"Great stay. Pictures on website did not do justice to this perfect cabin. Will definitely consider for future getaway. We especially enjoyed day hike at Grayson Highlands"

"This adorable cabin was the perfect place for me and my family to relax. It's not too far from VA or TN if you need to go out on a day excursion. This cabin may look small from the pictures online but it is actually very roomy!! It was clean and beautifully decorated. Mountain bliss....."

"If you truly want to get away from it all, this home is the spot to do it. We felt like we had our own mountain farm with rolling hills, privacy and a pond. There were even rolled up hay bales in the front yard that the kids enjoyed playing around. The wraparound porches are huge and a great spot for corn hole. We had beautiful weather the whole time but if it rained, you have enough space on the front porch to hang outside. There was plenty of firewood for the wood burning fireplace. You are really close to the New River and can drop in your own kayaks off roundhouse road depending on how long you want your kayak ride to be. There is a boat ramp under the bridge 5 minutes from the house which is where we would get out. There is no internet service but that was a refreshing change for our weekend getaway. Overall we were very happy with our stay here."
